The worst management in KC?? Maybe!

My company reserved a private room for 24 people and paid the upgrade fee for catered bbq food. During the reservation process, the young lady who was in charge was very rude and confrontational. Everybody had mentioned jokingly that she tried to argue with each and everyone of them, including myself. Don’t know what was wrong with her. She was just a jagged pill.

After paying thousands of dollars to reserve the facility for our event weeks passed and we arrived for our office party. Upon arrival we found that the management forgot about us and had booked our room to another group so we did not have the private room we were offered.

We were shoved into a little tiny cubby that seated about eight people so most of the people from our office were not able to enjoy the night together as planned.

Next it was revealed to us that they forgot about our catering. Indeed, we had no food waiting and instead were asked to pay full price to order food from the bar, and then the bar got angry when we ordered a bunch of food. Mind you we had to pay for it as well. AGAIN

next the drink tickets we purchased ended up being a flop, because they ran out of tickets. Apparently management forgot to buy the tickets needed to hand out to everybody for drinks so half of our group did not end up receiving any of the drinks we paid for.

In short, this place was full of rude people who don’t do a very good job and charge you for things they don’t give you. I would not recommend it for any type of corporate events and quite frankly it wasn’t much fun outside of that either so just skip this one and go somewhere that’s a lot more fun...

Il start off by saying the good. It’s a really cool place with a fun atmosphere and the golf is really fun. There are some really good opportunities for good photos and the drinks were pretty solid. Now the bad or more inconvenient, we had to change our reservation by 30 minutes and they accommodated that which we really appreciate however once we got there we were told we had only 30 minutes to golf and do the table golf because a party had booked out the entire venue. Now that is fine first come first serve however it would have definitely been nice and even professional to tell us over the phone that they had a party that reserved the entire venue and that management would ask us to leave once their party started. Had we known there was another party we would have just rescheduled so that we could properly enjoy ourselves. It also seemed like the staff just really didn’t care much or care that we were really there. As they came across as sort of rude. Overall a really fun concept that we enjoyed in the 24 minutes we got to stay. We will try it again of course but hopefully this time we will be let know we only have have a hour to...

My wife and I went to Sinkers to celebrate her birthday this weekend and left with mixed feelings about the business. The putt putt was great for only being a 9-hole course and the table top golf was a blast. On top of that, the bartender was friendly and the drinks tasted great. However… I left with a bruised knee and sore hip because one of the employees decided to mop the floor around us as we were playing the table top games. It wasn’t even 11pm yet and with over an hour before closing, he mopped the area around us because “it takes a while to do it.” I understand needing to get things clean before you close up, but we were one of the only couples inside at the time and he could have mopped everywhere else, but chose to do the area around us, causing me to slip and injure myself. The bartender appeared concerned when we explained to her what happened, but the older gentleman who did the mopping did not even apologize after I told him that I was injured do to him not waiting to mop… it definitely put a damper on our weekend and it’s doubtful we will...

So, this place is simple but fun. They have regular putt-putt and they have tabletop golf which is kindof like putt putt pool. This is not a world class golf experience. It is a bar that has fun entertainment you don't normally get. The golfing is not expensive! The drinks kinda are, but the entertainment isn't, so it kinda evens out? The wait staff was pretty good, the food looked good. Could use some sound clouds or something to attenuate the echoes from the space. Lastly, the colors on the walls are laughable. A woman was obviously not consulted. There are no fewer than 7 different greens, plus other colors, none of which are from the same color family. Hopefully they repaint soon, sad because they did a good job painting it a few weeks ago, but whatever paint salesperson that sold those colors all together should be slapped. That's basically it. We'll be back.

Attended a soft opening & loved it! Wasn’t crowded so no wait times for the holes. Fav courses are the first two. Colorful mini coursed to play on. We tried the table golf which was a whole different experience! It was like pool…but you have to try & get a hole in one!! Lots of seating so when they serve food you have somewhere to hang out. They didn’t have all the beverage selections up yet but the wine we tried was delicious 🍷 The music was on point the entire time which made the experience more enjoyable. You have got to check out the restrooms! The lighting is amazingly swanky! It’s in the Power & Light District next to the ax throwing & lots of restaurants! They validate parking which is another nice perk!!!
