Tonight 5/24/2025 I visited Katy Mills Mall looking for some good walking/jogging shoes. After going to many other stores in the mall not being greeted or assisted it was a breath of fresh air walking into the Nike store. The store was extremely busy especially in the clearance shoe area. Nevertheless while I grabbed two pair of shoes I was approached by staff member Wayne, he asked if I was finding everything okay and he offered me a shopping bag to put my shoes in. I greatly appreciated him checking on me it was a bit overwhelming and he was super busy helping others but he paused and asked me questions to figure out the best shoes for me. He then asked if I was okay with him showing me shoes that were not in the sale area, I said sure lol a little scared because I wanted to stay in budget but he showed me options that stayed within my budget. He helped me choose right size and insisted I try both shoes on at same time and walk to get a feel for them. They felt AMAZING MY FEET were sooooo HAPPY LOL. Wayne was truly exceptional in today’s world where customer service lacks you can truly see he has a joy and a passion for helping others THANK YOU so much for going above and beyond to help me! Read moreToday I had a bad experience with a employee her name is Stacy, My situation was as follows; I had a surgery and I can't carry a heavy load, and when I entered the store I talked to one of the employees who, by the way, was very kind and told me my situation and that if I bought several sneakers, there would be some possibility that they would help me take it to my car? And she told me of course I don't think there was a problem, I bought 19 pairs of tennis and some other things and when I already paid I told the cashier that if they could help me and she asked that employee Stacy and she said no and when I tried to explain my situation she did not let me talk and told me that I had to go out with my bags because they were going to close then I told her that if I could take half of the merchandise or a bag and then return for the rest and she said no we can have your merchandise here she saw me in a contemptuous way, so I went to the door of the store and asked for help from some young people who were going through, because they were already taking me out of the store, Stacy wanted me to take out my bags, but Thank God the young people helped me carry my bags, but they shouldn't hire people with that inhuman racist attitude, and with a...
Read moreCrowded and customers were not maintaining mask protocols. Store was a bit disorganized in the show area. They were having an additional 30% off on lowest marked price for all shoes on the reduced/sale wall + various items throughout the store as well. After 25 minutes of searching and trying on different shoes, I found a pair that appeared to qualify for the sale & even had the "30% off" label next to it plus a black marker slash through the barcode designating "sale". When the cashier rang up the shoes, they were on sale for $44.99 and should've had 30% extra too - but sadly, the cashier said they weren't. Another employee went over the rack where I found the shoes and told the cashier the shoes were in the wrong place. As a customer, if the shoes are grouped with on sale items mistakenly, the 30% should've been honored as a courtesy.
