Buffalo Old Time Photo Co — Attraction in Keystone

Employees were all super nice. They had a nice variety of sets and costumes. Pictures came out nicely. The reason for taking a star off was a lack of info when we came into their fairly small entry area. There were no signs giving you any clues about what you should expect procedurally. Normally, I wouldn’t say that would be necessary, but the photographer later apologized because they had been slammed. In those busy times, it would be very useful and probably make things a bit easier on the employees, as well.

But when we came in, there was a big group waiting to have photos taken (not that we could tell this) and another big group buying their photos. It was somewhat chaotic. We stood there for over twenty minutes before anyone came over and talked to us, telling us it would be another 20ish minutes, and did we want to put our name on the list. This was only once the group that was standing there was taken back to pick out their costumes. It only took about 2-3 minutes to talk to us. I’m really glad we did go ahead and have our photos taken there, as i really like them. And I do recommend going here. Just don’t be surprised by some initial confusion about whats going on, if...

I recently had the pleasure to witness a fun event with my grandchildren and great grandchildren in June 2024. We went to the studio in Keystone known as Buffalo Old Time Photo. Mike Glasser, the business owner, and his wonderful assistant worked with my kids in taking family portraits. It’s an event I wish I had taken video of as it would have been a great training video for future photographers. Mike and his associate worked their magic in getting the attention of my 5 great grandchildren, all little ones, with the youngest being handicapped. He got a world class family photo of both parents and 5 kids, no easy feat! Mike is experienced and has wonderful techniques for getting all to cooperate. His staff is well trained, experienced, while being cheerful and personable. The historic costumes and sets are extensive and creative. So, i have a huge problem with this company theres a man named...mike? or john? i am unsure, think his name was mike. i went last week..thursday? i believe it was. first off, he made a gross remark to me about my body i..am not the best in shape and he just blankly told me i wouldn't fit in a lot of customs even though most of it was like hats and stuff... he also was saying rude things about his employees being "lazy" and "unfavorable" but, they were incredibly nice to us. it just hurts my heart because i literally took my family out to keystone as a goodbye trip to my dad but mike..truly ruined the experience. id give negative...
