Sunglass Gallery — Attraction in Laguna Beach

THIS STORE IS RUNNING A SCAM!! I was told my sunglasses purchase are warranty covered -repairs are free. NOT TRUE -$20.00 is not free. My call to the manufacturer confirmed the store manager was being dishonest and scamming customers. Shortly after buying my glasses, the (very fragile) nose piece broke, and I was charged $10.00 for shipping and should expect them back in 1 week -but took 3 weeks (probably due to them sending out multiple glasses) . I said I would have appreciated being told there was a cost involved instead of being told it wold be free. THEN -I was charged ANOTHER $10.00 upon pick-up... The store manager said it was due to return shipping. This was a lie -I learned the manufacture DOES NOT CHARGE FOR RETURN SHIPPING. When I complained because I did not believe he was being honest, he was very ready for anything I said and his impervious / triumphant attitude showed he truly enjoyed coming up with various answers -that we both knew were lies, but he knew he would win... So what does a SCAMMER / LIAR win? A bad reputation. I am not interested in returning & feel others should know of the dishonest business practices -I suspect there is more scams so...

Cousin and I came into possibly purchase a set of sunglasses. My cousin wanted to think about it and come back, he thanked the owner for his service and the owner said “no thank you” in a disrespectful manner. As we were walking out we were saying there was no need for the disrespect as we’re customers and we’re nothing but respectful. As we walked out the owner said “your people never buy” which was uncalled for, disrespectful, and terrible as an owner to a potential buyer. I definitely don’t recommend every purchasing from this store nor even walking in. They had two dogs supposedly greet our ankles and bark at us as we first walked in and for someone who’s allergic to dogs, it was concerning and I asked if they couple move the dogs away or put them somewhere else and they refused to do so because “they’re baby sitting the 2 dogs”. Again I don’t...

I was there with my friend to likely buy a brand sunglass. The owner of the store showed us different ones to check. We liked a couple of them and I wanted to check the online price to compare but suddenly the owner asked me what are you doing!? Let me see your phone. As he saw that I am checking the price, he showed his hidden personality and said you shouldn’t check the online price after coming to the store (the most wierd thing I have ever heard) and since he knew that his prices are way above the original seller of the brand price, he said that I don’t sell sunglasses and was treated us in a very rude manner. I don’t recommend this store at all as he is going to make money out of people by forcing them to buy a sunglass with higher price than the original seller. This is not the way to be a good seller in the US as first the thing is to care...
