If you’re looking for a thrilling, challenging, and immersive escape room experience in Wisconsin Dells, Escapology is the place to go! We took on the Murder Mansion escape room, one of their hardest challenges, and it was absolutely amazing. This was our first-ever escape room, and despite the difficulty, we managed to escape with just 1 minute and 12 seconds left on the clock! The excitement, the puzzles, and the rush of solving the mystery made it an unforgettable experience.

The Escape Room – Murder Mansion

From the moment we stepped inside, the Murder Mansion felt like a real crime scene. The attention to detail in the room’s design, the eerie atmosphere, and the complex puzzles made it a fully immersive experience. Each clue led us deeper into the story, and the puzzles were well thought out, creative, and challenging—they really made us think!

We had to solve 15 clues to escape (the average is 14), which kept us constantly engaged. The pressure built up as time ticked down, making the final moments super intense. When we finally solved the murder and escaped, the feeling of accomplishment was incredible!

Our Game Host – Roger

A huge shoutout to Roger, our game master—he was fantastic! From the very beginning, he explained everything clearly and enthusiastically, making sure we felt comfortable and ready to take on the challenge. His clues were perfectly timed, keeping us on track without making it too easy.

After we escaped, he took pictures for us, including a selfie (which was a great touch), and even offered us a substantial discount if we came back for another room—an offer we definitely plan to use! His energy and passion for the experience made it even better.

Our group included both adults and teens, and the challenge level was perfect for everyone. The puzzles were engaging, thought-provoking, and required the entire team to work together. It was the perfect balance of teamwork and individual problem-solving, ensuring that everyone was involved and contributing. We escaped with just five minutes to spare, which added to the excitement and sense of accomplishment!

Our game master, Jerry, was phenomenal. He was courteous, attentive, and knew exactly when to step in with a helpful nudge or clue. His guidance was always pertinent, never giving too much away but helping us stay on track when needed. His professionalism and enthusiasm added to the overall experience.
