Love Story Wedding Chapel — Attraction in Las Vegas

We went to Vegas and eloped on 12.22.21. My review is delayed since we just told everyone on our '1 year' a few months ago. My husband and I wanted to have a special ceremony together before we had a big ceremony (7.22.22) with family and friends. And I promised Love Story Chapel that once we tell fam and friends, we will write a major review .. so if you're on the fence, look no FURTHER! This is the service you want for your special day!

I cannot describe how happy we are with Love Story Wedding Chapel! We contacted many chapels and many were a bit confusing to follow, weren't extremely responsive, hard to understand the pricing / seemed to have hidden fees, the pricing was so odd for just a few 4x6 printed pictures too. It made me feel a bit frustrated trying to find the perfect match and felt like I didn't really know what service to trust for our special day, until I found Love Story.

We contacted Love Story and Juli who was our wedding planner explained in great detail everything we needed to know before making our decision. Juli was quick with her responses, broke down the pricing options and what exactly comes with each package. She gave me her direct number to text in case I had any other Q's going forward. She let us pick the time, place, and it felt VERY personalized for US and what works for us. With this service it is all laid out on the table , no hidden fees or weirdness. We were told what we were paying for... but We both feel we got so much more.

Photos were the MOST important to us since this day we did alone without our friends and family, so we wanted to make sure EVERY moment was captured. We really wanted digital and I couldn't find anything like Love storys photo offering in Vegas. Juli said They guarantee 50- non watermarked digital photos, but they would send EVERYTHING that they end up taking within the time frame of our package. This was one of the main reasons we said YES to Love Story. It gets better... We got over 100 photos and they even sent copies in black and white! Mario was our photographer, he made us feel so special, he was SO easy to work with, we felt so comfortable with him! He was extremely helpful in posing as "camera shy" is a real thing!! His photos are truly outstanding! He would make it feel organic and the photos turned out incredible... he caught our special moment so perfectly... THANK YOU MARIO!!

We met Arnold and Mario at a gas station as planned to follow them out to the desert. They were on time and ready to go! Arnold was our officiant and honestly, we really didn't know what to expect, but when he got out of the car, he was SUITED up and looked so handsome.. I just thought, wow, this is SO neat he is dressed to the nines as we were, for our day. I just really was impressed with that and thought it was so cool that they care about our day to do this!! I could go on and on about how Arnolds presence really had us both calm in a bit of an excited but very nervous moment. We walked down a little pathway and as we did, he started playing the classic wedding isle song " Canon D" which we both looked at each other "omg this is so cute!".. we didn't plan this but they had it ready to go. It was perfect! We said vows, and when we were done, Arnold said the MOST BEAUTIFUL POEM. we didn't know that this was even a thing. We both almost cried. (I don't want to give away the poem in case they do this for all.... it's so lovely.. just wait for it!!) We ended up using it in our celebration ceremony 6 months later with fam and friends and EVERYONE loved it!!! Arnold, you made OUR DAY!!! thank you for your calm, your excitement for us, how you really made us feel comfortable and doing the BEST job on the poem delivery!!!

Wow. A clean, modern chapel, unbeatable pricing and a team you can trust (who actually cares). This is the one. Just go for it and breathe easy! We were beyond happy with our entire experience at Love Story Chapel!

The photos, which we received less than 24 hours later, were beyond our expectations and perfectly captured all the joy. Plus we got waaaay more than 50 (130, each in B&W AND color) which were all included in the package, watermark free with no extra fees. There really were NO other fees other than what we booked online. (But we of course made a point to tip as is common curtosy in Vegas and the wedding industry in most places.) The officiant made a lovely and heartfelt speech that really struck us and everyone who listened in on the live stream. It was the perfect balance of actualizing our commitment and what that means and the joy that comes from having one another. Talking to the driver on the way back, we learned that everyone involved was either family or life long friends which I definitely wouldn't have guessed as everyone was perfect and beyond professional in their roles. But looking back, it must have helped everything run so smoothly as communication was flawless. Our planner did an expert job of communicating all our needs to the team. Even know we only spoke through email, we didn't need to reshare any details in person. Another thing to point out is that we were not rushed at all. Actually we were late (I don't recommend this haha) however our late arrival was never mentioned and we were made to feel very comfortable from beginning to end. In fact, they waited for us to initiate a lot of the festivities, giving us plenty of time to take it all in, and gently directing us when appropriate. This may change depending on scheduling, but we got to spend extra time in the chapel than booked and this wasn't even brought to our attention. Some other percs were being able to pick our own music and playlist for photos (yup, at no charge), enjoying some delicious Nothing Bunt Cakes cake to go, and (while we felt super safe) we got to forget about Covid for an hour and didnt feel like the experience was too different for the two of us as we got to take our masks off for a bit.

I'd also like to mention that I work in wedding/special events planning, so I've worked a LOT of weddings. To see everyone working so well together and for everyone to go beyond expectation is a special and rare occurrence (and even harder to achieve on a budget). This is the team you want at any price point.

For our wedding video, we reached out to the very talented duo, Lovely Captured Photos which I will write a separate review for. They've worked with Love Story Chapel many times and have a great relationship. Their passion for the venue (and their couples) shows and I highly recommend reaching out to them as they were a big, positive part of our experience.

Lastly, I can't tell you how much time and research we put into making our decision, and not living in Las Vegas and seeing it in person first makes it tough. My opinion of venues changed a lot as we saw them from the outside while driving around (not all are as described and I didn't need to see the inside to tell). Love Story Chapel, while small, will not disappoint and is even better in person. We will be back for our...

I cannot even begin to explain how happy we are with choosing Love Story Wedding Chapel for our wedding ceremony! I was definitely nervous at first because it seemed too good to be true. I even looked them up on Google Maps and their business license to make sure they were legit.

We decided on their Mountain elopement setting because I always wanted to be married outside in the woods. The location has GORGEOUS views and is such a beautiful setting. It's about 45ish minutes from downtown Las Vegas near Mt. Charleston. The ceremony site was not too far of a walk from where we parked. Our 84 year old grandma was able to handle it with assistance.

Savannah was so sweet at answering all of my questions. They truly handled everything. Everyone I interacted with made sure they did things the way my husband and I wanted.

Mark Ilay was our photographer and he was so patient when it came to changing up our 11 guest posed photos. He has such a talented eye for photography. We honestly love ALL our wedding photos!

Irma was our officiant and she called us a few days before the wedding to go over how we wanted the ceremony to go. She texted us the day of with a reminder to make sure we didn't forget the rings or the marriage license. She was very thoughtful.

Everything we paid for: We decided to add on a bouquet for myself and my MOH, the unity sand ceremony, photography, videography and a short edited video clip. We were sent a link 2 days after the wedding of all 556 edited photos! We received the wedding videos a day later. I didn't feel the song they chose was the right fit for us so I emailed the Chapel and they sent me the edited video with the new song we chose the very next day!

Everyone has been blow away when we tell them we only paid about $1,100 for the whole ceremony which included everything I listed above!

I cannot recommend this place enough!!! If you're wanting to do an elopement, go with Love Story Wedding...
