Comedy on Deck Tours was truly an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Patrick, and our driver, Thomas, were fantastic! Patrick ensured we made the most of our time at each key sight, allowing us plenty of time to soak in the views. The tour started with a delicious hot breakfast that fueled us for the day ahead. The barbecue lunch, with options of pork or chicken, was hearty and kept us satisfied for the rest of the journey.
I had an unforgettable birthday trip that I will cherish forever! Visiting the Grand Canyon was an experience like no other. The sheer size and breathtaking beauty of this natural wonder left me in awe. The vibrant colors of the rock formations are simply captivating. Each viewpoint offers a unique perspective, and I found myself snapping countless photos, though none could truly capture its magnificence. The well-maintained hiking trails cater to all skill levels, allowing everyone to appreciate the stunning landscape. It's best to take your time on the trails and explore the more tranquil paths.
The park's facilities are excellent, with friendly staff and a helpful visitor center. Whether you're an avid hiker, a photography enthusiast, or just looking to relax and enjoy the scenery, the Grand Canyon has something for everyone. The Sky Walk was a bit underwhelming, but personal photography is allowed, and they do have official photographers available for a fee.
The other stops along the way were equally impressive. The Hoover Dam was absolutely magnificent! It’s a remarkable feat of human engineering that showcases the power of nature. The Pat Tillman Bridge was particularly moving, especially knowing the story behind Pat Tillman.
Overall, this trip left me in complete awe. If you're seeking adventure, beauty, and a sense of wonder, the Grand Canyon is a must-visit. I can't wait to return for...
Read moreWOW! Ian and America made my childhood trauma disappear.
Ok, I have to honest, I was emotionally scarred from being forced to travel to the Grand Canyon multiple times as a kid. Stuffed into the back seat of a 1983 Chevy Nova hatchback with my nerdy brother peering through a tiny window for 4 hours just to get to the boring tourist trap in the desert. Standing around in 120° stale heat, no water, no benches to sit on, standing with 1000 other unhappy people for 50 minutes just wishing to click my heals and magically appear back at home. So, for the last 25 years, every time my husband brought up going to "the big hole in the ground" I cringed and selfishly said NO. This year, I became romantic and planned a trip for us to finally visit. I am so happy to admit that I couldn't have been more wrong by postponing this visit. If I had known that the dynamic duo of Ian & Miss America would be there to give us the most pleasurable Grand Canyon experience every, I would have given my husband this trip 20 yrs ago.
America's driving was amazing and worked to keep our tour ahead of schedule the whole day while Ian kept us entertained the entire 10 hrs with fresh comedy and fantastic tips on ways to enjoy Vegas. Together they made our drive-time ease by in a comfy bus with free-flowing air conditioning and unlimited bottled water. Local breakfast provided to get the day started and lunch with a breath-taking view helped give us the all-around pleasurable experience.
Given the chance, make sure to book your tour with Comedy On Deck tours and don't hesitate to request the best team there, Ian America. Support your local small business and avoid those bigger tour companies who won't give you the same personal attention the Ian will.
AND DON'T FORGET TO ASK IAN ABOUT WHY HE LOVES MAGIC and Chris Angel...
Read moreWhat a disappointing experience!!! Don’t be fooled by the good reviews as they make people leave 5-star reviews in exchange for some perks. We booked this tour hoping for something fun and informative, but we left with nothing but a headache.
It starts painfully early (around 6:30am) with a stop for a BELOW AVERAGE breakfast. The guide hypes it up as something special, but it’s far from it: watered-down coffee, tiny portions, and food that tastes bland at best. The so-called “3-egg bowls” barely had 1 eggs. The taste is also really bland.
Then there’s a long 4-hour drive where you’re forced to listen to your “comedian” guide who simply rambles on and on for hours with a microphone so even with your earplugs there is no escaping unfortunately. Especially if English isn’t your first language, just avoid this at all costs, it’s even more exhausting, as the constant chatter makes it hard to pick out the useful bits of information too.
The pamphlet they hand out is outdated and missing crucial details like clear pickup instructions which caused unnecessary delays. We had to wait nearly HALF AN HOUR for another group who were just as confused. The guide put the blame on them at the end. It was really unprofessional.
You spend a lot of time on the road but very little time in the Canyon despite your guide saying we are on time and have plenty of time for everything. He again hypes you up about the lunch but you have yet another BELOW AVERAGE lunch which hurts your stomach for hours.
You get to see the Hoover Dam from a far away distance. You might as well look at photos from your phone at home and get a better experience really.
Overall, way too much time wasted in transit, with bad food, poor organization and very little of the actual experience you signed up for. Definitely...
