Downeast — Attraction in Layton

I was going to purchase items that had been marked down, but when I got to the cash register, I was told that the prices that were on the physical tag were lower than what they actually were. I understand that occasionally, items are accidentally moved to the clearance section, but these items had prices on the actual tags. I ended up not purchasing most of the items I chose because they were not correctly marked. The girl helping me was not kind about the price change and made it seem like my fault. If something is marked on the item, it should be sold at that price. It seems like totally false advertising, and the lack of sympathy or friendliness from the associate didn't help. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE coming to the Layton HIlls Mall Downeast store. The staff are amazing. They are kind, cheerful, helpful and very professional. They are educated on their clothing items and the store always look clean and organized. Amy who serves as the manager is so positive and complimentary. She truly cares about her customers and does a wonderful job at making me feel important and special. I've gotten several outfits from the store just in the past few weeks, and I plan on returning to this location to do more clothes shopping. We were NOT planning on even stopping at any other store in the mall but one (and it was NOT Down East). As we were walking by , my daughter said, oh look. They have a down east here and asked if we could stop in! We were soooo pleased that we did!
