Every time my family and I travel I am in search of the best Apple Fritter. Mom and pops, hole-in-the-walls, chains (Krispy crème, Dunkin, Voodoo, Vegas joints, or Washington State port Pulsbo Viking delicatessen. Now for LCDC. This is by far the best donut shop I have ever experienced. Correct, not tried, experienced.

Boston Cream: Light dough , perfect chocolate, jammed packed to the seams with real vanilla bean custard. 10/10

Fruity Pebbles: Fresh cereal, light, chewy dough, and the perfect cereal milk tasting frosting. Yes, when you drink the fruity pebble milk, that’s what the frosting is. 10/10

Samoa: Great combo of chocolate, coconut, and caramel. I would have more saucy caramel but the donut was spot on of the classic taste you’re looking for. 9/10

S’mores: Tastes like S’mores. Graham was excellent, chocolate frosting is perfect. I don’t like chocolate all that much but this is light and perfect. I would spread/melt the marshmallow but that’s just me being picky. 8/10

Lastly, Apple Fritter: This apple fritter is out of this world. The dough is light, chewy, yet crispy and bursting with flavor of apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and that apple pie filling sauce that is ever fleeting in any other fritter never ends with each bite. I’m just sad it’s over and I don’t live...

He’s busting out delicious, specially crafted donuts! Phil is SUCH a nice guy and clearly cares as much about the quality of his treats as he does the satisfaction of his customers!

Phil was so easy to work with when I called and asked him if he could create two custom large (okay, giant) donuts for my son Roland’s birthday “cake”. He did some experimenting to get to the size I requested and quoted me a VERY reasonable price. I added a dozen of what turned out to be his AMAZING maple bars. AND when I picked up my order, he gave me a big discount!

He makes his donuts with special imported Italian flour that has a higher protein content and is lower on the glycemic index…. He also doesn’t over sweeten his donut dough so you don’t get as much of a sugar crash after! His donuts have a slight lemon taste, a touch of nutmeg, and have a delightful slight chew! He also makes a LOT of fun specialty flavors like root beer float and lemon GLAZED (not filled)!

Excellent service. Very friendly and welcoming. We will return just based off of service. We got 3 donuts and loved them all! We even had some bonus donut holes in our box. Cinnamon twist- nice crisp exterior with a light and fluffy center. I love the cinnamon used. Very fragrant. Smaller than normal twists. Very very tasty. Apple fritter- awesome fritter. Probably the best actual apple experience I've ever had in a fritter. The pieces are very tender and well spiced but still have a slight bite to them so you know they are there without them completely disappearing into the donut with almost every other fritter. Not oily at all with the same slight crisp exterior and light, almost bready, interior. Same slight lemon finish that distinguishes these donuts from others. Would absolutely get again. Maple glaze- still slightly crisp bite on the exterior with a light fluffy center. Thin maple glaze with a slightly less sweet taste than others. The donuts finish with a lemon hint which is really interesting and delicious. Would get again Overall very good donuts with a unique lemon finish. Not our favorite donut texture but very good still. We will happily return when...
