My Petite Sweet — Restaurant in Lincoln City

WOW! I'm going to struggle to express my high opinions of this bakery and it's owner, Michelle, but here goes. Over the past few months, I've visited the Lincoln City and Newport locations of MyPetiteSweet multiple times, returning both for the excellent service and the well-curated variety of tasty goodies (which isn't always that large on the Coast, but it sure is here!).

Well, the time of my SO's birthday was fast approaching this past week, and I decided to do something I've not done before: order a professionally made cake from a bakery. When the day arrived to pick the cake up, I had the bad fortune of some electrical issues with my car. I told Michelle, who was working in Lincoln City, of this issue, and that I could pick the cake up the next morning. Imagine my surprise when she offered to meet me in Newport in a short time, even though the shop was closed!

The end result was even better than I could have hoped for! The cake was thoughtfully designed and crafted, and tasted absolutely fantastic, too! Throughout the ordering process, Michelle’s attentiveness assured that everything went according to plan, and when I nearly missed the pickup, she went out of her way to improve a day which was not going great otherwise. I contacted Michelle from My Petite Sweet Bakery a year before my wedding, and she promptly saved my date on her calendar. A week before the wedding, she worked with me over email and phone to finalize my order of a three-tier wedding cake with two fake layers and 100 assorted cupcakes. Her level of customer service was amazing. She ensured the cake and cupcakes were delivered to my venue a day prior to the big day.

The cake was not only stunningly beautiful but also incredibly delicious. My husband developed some dietary restrictions right before the wedding, and we were trying to adjust. Upon mentioning this to Michelle, she was able to accommodate us with a sugar-free cake for our photos. My husband was so impressed with the cake that he hasn’t stopped talking about it two months later.

The staff at My Petite Sweet Bakery were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right. From making sure they decorated our cake just the way we wanted it, to the delivery, every detail was handled with care and precision. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Yesterday my fiance Richard and I (Lori) had a tasting with Michelle at my petite sweet to decide if they would be the baker for our wedding and try out different flavors to decide what we would have. All I can say is they are phenomenal. Michelle is unbelievably sweet, super kind and made me so much less stressed about my upcoming wedding. Her cakes were out of this world. I can't explain this better than saying I had never had good cake in my life until yesterday. I thought I had, but her cakes are an experience, they are just absolutely amazing and you can tell she genuinely loves and cares about what she does. They have all sorts of items to choose from, and I can only imagine that they are all amazing. If you get time to stop in Lincoln city, do not miss this place and if you love Creamsicle ask if she has any of her cupcakes with that flavor, because they are truly mind blowing. I can't wait for her to make our wedding cake /cupcakes, because I know without a doubt they will taste unbelievable and she'll make it a smooth, easy process.
