My favorite Thai spot in Lincoln City Oregon, 📍Best Thai! From the flavorful broth of the Po-Tak to the huge chunk of crabs in the fried rice! #foodietiktok #foodie #thai #thaifood

2 stars is nearly too generous. The front of house waiter was down to earth & likeable. He was clearly running an understaffed place: taking payment, waiting tables, and cleaning tables. Props to him for that. Unfortunately, that can only be the extent of my praise. I paid $17 for a chicken Khao Soi – normally costing $13/14 at your average thai place. That would be okay IF it didn't taste like it came from a hospital dabbling in thai food. There was no chili oil (or any spice) or salt in the dish. It was really bland & soupy. The pictured meal is a GREEN curry, also bland & tasting like my white mom made it. It took around 30 minutes to get to our table, which I want to blame on understaffing BUT 2 ladies who walked in after us & ordered takeout got their food before us. The food arrived in plastic takeout containers - which I hope is just due to local COVID restrictions, but I'm not sure. It may just be easier to clean up for the one FOH guy. Either way, its super wasteful. Unfortunately I cannot unrecommend Best Thai enough. Save the poor guy some stress & eat somewhere else. You wont regret it! Also, management: please release those big fish swimming in the tiny tiny fish tank.

Clean, friendly, and tastes even better than it smells! So you start with the ridiculously low priced $5 fried bananas (we paid extra $1.50 for a side of their house-made peanut sauce) and loved adding it to the included chocolate sauce and light drizzle of the sweet/sour on the table. The picture shows the quantity after we each already had one! The pineapple fried rice says shrimp and chicken, but only came with 2 shrimp, so call it chicken and for the enormous quantity of food for only $12, wow. Totally worth it. Added the pork version of the Evil Jungle Prince red curry, a more-than-generous portion for @ $11, and went home with the to-go portions you see in the picture after we were both stuffed! Medium spicy was just that, wife could have gone to hot, extra hot for me, but we got the hot sauce collection on the side; LOVE the one that is clear liquid with green Thai chiles. Thai iced tea only $2, and honestly, when shoveling in the left overs it smells so good it's hard not to start right at the beginning again! We'll be eating here again.

Horrible service. My family and I walked in. We’ve heard wonderful things about this place. We were so excited to try it out. Drove and hour and 20 minutes to get there. Kids were starving and ready to sit down and eat. As soon as we walked in a lady ask how many people. 6, 2 adults 4 children. Then this guys comes out and says, “just so you know on a party of 6 it’s mandatory for an 18% Gratuity. It’s not from me, it’s from the owner.” I told him that’s fine. He then continued like I was upset over it and said you can read the fine print if you want. I again told him that was fine. I asked if we needed to order our food from the menus that are taped to a table just as you walk into the restaurant and he said no. A party of 6 we just seat. So we sat down looked at the menus and was ready to order. No one came over. We then assumed we had to go to the lady standing at the counter to order. So we went up and started to order. Forgot about bringing our mask to the counter with us. That same guy came running out of the kitchen to scold us about being up “walking” around and not having our mask on. Completely embarrassing and completely rude. What his issue was, my kids just got done playing on the beach and didn’t look fancy enough to be in the hole in the wall restaurant. We must have been poor people. Oh well, pigs and a pancake got our business and $100 check plus a $30 tip. To the people at best Thai…. Never judge a book by its cover. You missed out this time by having rude, and poor...

This is not Thai food, it's low quality fast food. It's not worth the price, it is not the best thai.

I got tom kha soup that didn't taste like it had any lemongrass in it, green curry that was watery like soup, drunken noodles that looked like something you would get at a panda express, and egg rolls that tasted like it came out of the freezer aisle of a grocery store.

Everything is served in to go containers...so wasteful. Everyone else in town is using plates and silverware. Yeah we're in a pandemic but they're letting people dine in anyway, they should let people use plates.

I walked in with my partner and we ordered our food, had to pay and tip before getting seated or served. We waited by the door for a booth table to get cleaned, took almost 10 minutes. While we were waiting two other people ordered food. The person after us got what they ordered before we even got our table cleaned. Our food was served right after out table was cleaned. I told the waitress I was starting to wonder if she forgot about us. She said she was the only person working out there besides the cook. I feel bad for her. It was busy and she seemed rushed because there were too many people to serve for just one employee. I would be stressed out too if I were her. Either the service and food step up a notch or the name of the place changes. Never...

VERY RUDE TERRIBLE SERVICE AND VERY DISGUSTING FOOD! WORST TOM KA I'VE EVER HAD. IT TASTED AND SMELLED AS IF SOMEONE PISSED IN IT. It was basically all broth with a few little onions and bell peppers. I get they're understaffed but I find it very rude they have the guy at the counter taking phone calls as there's a line of actual customers piling up. I was going to eat there but the atmosphere was HORRID. Its completely full of people waiting around for togo orders right by your booth, the phone ringing off the hook constantly, and the loudest most atrocious ska song on repeat that really drove me nuts. I called to try and change to a togo order as this kid appeared to be more attentive to the phone customers and he kept rushing me saying sorry he couldn't do that and kept hanging up on me, and all together not answering my calls but kept taking other calls and not rushing the other people. They also left my eggrolls out on the table where people kept frequently hovering around while I was out and when I requested new ones they said no they're too busy. I regret leaving them a generous over 20 percent tip on my order they DID NOT EARN IT. They get you by having you pay first. Worst experience. WILL NOT BE BACK. Thai Country in Mcminnville is...
