Nebraska State Historical Society — Attraction in Lincoln

Worst service of any historical library and archives in the Midwest. I planned to do research here and sent notification of my arrival and the holdings I wanted to use a week in advance. I even said in the notice, that I was giving a heads up just in case the holdings were at an off-site location. When I arrived nothing was waiting for me and I had to wait 40 minutes for them to retrieve the collection. Add to that I had paid full time on a 2hr maximum parking meter and it became a waste of time and money.

The sign-in was routine stuff, but the lack of preparedness, despite notice and then the wait were unprofessional and inconsiderate.
