Look no further if you want a hassle-free experience. I want to thank Brian for providing exceptional customer service. I was so glad to get someone who is both personable and knowledgeable. I needed to have my engagement ring and wedding ring resized and a manager at Ben Bridge Jeweler recommended Fast-Fix. Although my custom rings came with a lifetime resizing, I was looking at a turnaround time of about 5-6 weeks. I ended up going with Fast-Fix because of the convenience and peace of mind of having my rings resized in house instead of having to ship them off. I appreciate the fact that Brian took the time to read off the laser inscription of the GIA (Gemological Institute Diamond) report number on my diamond when I picked up my rings 10 days later. I also needed a battery replacement for my Tiffany watch and was looking for the most convenient way to get it done. The nearest Tiffany store quoted me a turnaround time of 4 weeks or longer for a simple battery change, plus a $50 charge and an additional $20 for shipping cost. Fast-Fix was able to get it done within 20 mins and for MUCH le$$! The total cost for the new battery plus their 5-yr watch battery replacement plan was a reasonable $54.95. The 5-yr watch battery replacement plan is optional, of course. I plan on bringing in my Cartier watch when it needs a new battery. I made the mistake of wearing my wristwatch during a recent softball game, and broke the spring pin that holds the link and bracelet clasp together. No problem. It's an easy fix.

I was planning to go to Park Meadows for some shopping, and took my watch along. Even though the reviews for Fast-Fix Watch Repair (on this site and others) are overwhelming bad, I stopped by to see what they would charge.

The young lady behind the counter was very polite. She took my watch to the repairman (owner?) and came back with a quote. They wanted $20 to replace the pin.

Now, I know how much those pins cost ($1 retail, pennies wholesale), and how much labor is required to replace it (about 10 seconds). I had a figure in mind already, and if she had quoted $5, I would have thought "that's outrageous, but fine, do it." When she quoted $20, I just thanked her and walked away.

A few minutes later I walked into Helzberg Diamonds and explained my situation. The salesman took my watch and said "let me see if we have one that fits." He came back a few minutes later with a new pin installed and my watch ready to wear again. I asked him what I owed him, and he said "nothing, just come back and shop with us some day." Done.

I understand that Fast-Fix has to make a buck, and they don't have the latitude to fix things for free in the interest of building customer goodwill, but, honestly, price gouging is just...

This shop features a small but amazing team of watch repair experts. Every time I need one of my watches resized or re-banded they do it extremely quickly with the upmost care to detail and customer satisfaction. They’re more than happy to spend the time discussing various band options and the pros and cons involved with each and explain the best practices for keeping your timepiece investments in perfect shape regardless of how simple or complex the machinery may be.

My best experience with them was when I brought in a metal-banded watch which I had dropped. The bandclasp had warped too much to secure around the wrist so the employee at the front desk took it from me, pulled out his tools. tinkered with it for about a minute, and then handed it back to me - good as new and with no charge. The staff here understands how personally significant watches can be to their customers and always go above and beyond what’s expected to make sure you leave happy with a watch on your wrist that you’ll continue to love for years to come.

I can’t speak to their jewelry repair services but I’ve never been anything less than amazed at how seriously they take the craft of watch repair, I can only imagine that they would be just as amazing when fixing upscale jewelry, wedding rings, family heirlooms, etc. Whether you are looking for watch repair or jewelry repair, this is going to be the right...
