Spirit Cruises — Attraction in Long Beach

I booked the 90 ft boat for a wedding anniversary party, and it was great. Captain Nick and his whole crew was amazing and so helpful. I wanted to start the party a little earlier than their typical schedule times to catch the sunset, and the accommodated that.

The communication before the party was not great, rarely anyone answered the phone, it took a long time to get email responses, and my initial visit to the boat i had a scheduled time, and i get there and the boat isn't there! but day of the party everything came together nicely. the crew quickly set everything up based on the amount of tables i requested and helped me set up my decorations too. I had told my guests to arrive early to allow for parking, but what i didn't know there was a jazz festival in Long Beach that day, and parking was EXTRA bad. I wish they would have notified me that there was an event happening and i would have made other parking arrangements. that parking mess delayed some guest over an hour, so my plan of when we would leave the dock changed , luckily i didn't have a strict schedule and it all worked out ok. An FYI from the cruise people would have been much appreciated.

I booked the Fiesta Party Buffet with unlimited margaritas. I was busy dancing and didn't get a chance to try the food, but all the guests said they loved it. The margaritas were not strong at all and tasted mostly like juice, but i guess for the price that's what you get.

I hosted my business launch party along with my 30th birthday with Spirit Cruises and the whole staff was extremely helpful. I originally spoke with Angela on the phone and she was very accommodating along with helpful when it came to planning my celebration. I had very detailed questions about DJ setup and was allowed to visit the yacht prior to confirm logistics to ensure a smooth embarkment. Captain Nick was very enthusiastic and made me very excited to host my celebration!

I booked the Fiesta Party Buffet which included a Make-your-Own Taco, Tostada, and Burrito Bar along with unlimited margaritas! My guests had a great time and I highly recommend booking Spirit Cruises for large celebrations. As a tip, I would recommend telling your guests to come at least an hour early to account for parking and walking. During my celebration in March 2023, it was near St. Patrick's Day and it was very challenging for my guests to find parking, navigate past the parade, and find the yacht initially but it is easier to use landmarks like restaurants for creating a meet up spots for guests before disembarking.

Do Not, I repeat Do Not use this company. At least not for a burial at sea. First off our appointment was for 10am. Boat did not dock till 10:45am. All our guests were waiting. We had to wait another 15 minutes while they unloaded the previous passengers. Once we boarded the boat there was barely any time to set up the memorial. There was no kind of order or directions. My husband wanted to share a few words about our daughter, give a short eulogy. He spoke with Carlos about it previously over the phone. My husband Reminded him when we were boarding and asked him to let him know when he could speak. He totally Ignored our request.
