Gamestop distribution rarely sends anything new to this location. This specific Location relies on traded in items mainly for their stock. - in general it's a average to below average gamestop for physical game selection. GS corporate doesn't care about the MN market compared to other markets and its very evident based off game collectors youtubers channels like Mr. Wright way, or kodywithaK, and many other influencers in the physical gaming playing / collection community. Other Stores in other states markets are stocked to the brim with the latest releases and multiple selections of games, this location solely only receives newly released physical copies of games ONLY if pre-ordered, I find it odd a game retail seller company doesn't order / have at least a good handful of copies of every physical released game available on release day. Many titles released never even make it to the store for sale because they only distro out via pre-ordered titles only. Other things to note is GS partnered with limited run and also mod-retro but you won't find those item in stock in store and online e-commerce frequently has those listen items as "un-available". Read moreI have left a lot of positive feedback for employees of GameStop But I have to say my experience with Caitlin was probably the best I've had with this company. She answered every question I asked and helped me beyond what is expected of her as an employee. She made several phone calls to other locations to secure an item I had been hunting for. Including two phone calls to update me on her search. Outside of the customer service she genuinely seems like a wonderful person who actually cares about what she does. It is very rare to find someone so genuinely kind.

Just stopped back at this location and once again had an absolutely positive experience. Avery was helpful and has a great sense of humor. Help me find what I was looking for and showed me a few other things that I wanted but didn't know I could get there. All of which had been discounted through the stores special. This location is excellent they just keep hiring wonderful people who actually care about their clientele.

Read moreWent in to buy some Pokemon Cards. 2 boxes at 21.99 each. Cashier looked up my account and noticed i have 30000 points suggested i use it to save $30 off my purchase. I said sure, and let her redeem it for me. I paid and got to my car. I was looking at the receipt and saw that only $21.99 was redeemed out of the $30. I went back in to talk to the employee and she said theres nothing she can do about it. I demanded to speak to a manager and she said theres no one around, so she texted one of the other workers. He said to her that theres nothing they can do about it since it was coupons and since pokemon products were no returns. They gave me a customer service phone number to call saying i have to call because it's customer based phone number. I called that number and there was nothing they can do on their end either. If the cashier would have told me about how the reward points were going to be redeemed, i would have never allowed it. Making a suggestion for a customer that leads to unsatisfied results leading to saying 'there's nothing we can do about it' and not even trying to rectify their error is bad company practice.
