Read moreThis place is an absolute nightmare. Every experience was horrible. There were constant injustices and lies and I had to fight every time and still did not get everything rectified. They sell mattresses with toxic fumes that gave me a bad reaction. I let the mattress air out for 5 weeks before I could even attempt to sleep on it. My mother bought a different mattress from them in the past and I wanted to exchange for that one and they refused because it is cheaper. They made me buy another item just to put the exchange through. The paperwork says that you can exchange for a cheaper item but you will not get the price difference refunded to you but they want to get more commissions so they lie and say they can't do it and force you to buy more items. I notified them that I have medical problems and I got the adjustable base so that I could sleep sitting up to help with acid reflux but due to other inflammations and injuries of my body I was unable to use the item and sleep with it sitting up. Even for medical reasons they will not even exchange the adjustable base for a box spring.
I qualified for 58 months of financing and the salesperson lied to me and told me that I did not qualify just to force me to buy more things that I did not need to increase the commission.
My sales person told me that she was about to leave in 5 minutes and when I came back 10 minutes later the customer service desk told me that that's not true and she could come help. She just cares about commissions and did not want to deal with my issue.
She does not care about what's best for me she only cares about trying to sell me the most expensive mattress. Every time I don't agree to buy the most expensive mattress she says she has other customers and she leaves me to figure things out on my own.
When I went to exchange my mattress for another mattress they told me that this would disqualify me for my original financing terms. This makes no sense especially since switching out for a cheaper mattress does not entitle you to a refund so the dollar amount remains unchanged so why would that disqualify me from the previous number of months. It does not they just want more commission they want to try to force me to buy more items.
I will never do business with Rooms to Go again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from them and I will get my mattress box spring from somewhere else and anything...
Read moreI am a caregiver for my disabled husband who is a Wounded Warrior and I try to make things easy for me and him by purchasing items that are convenient and with quality. I purchased a kitchen table set and dining room table set on 7/21/2021 and have waited very patient to get my items. The kitchen table set was delivered approximately a month later with no problems. The table portion of the dining room set was delivered 3 weeks ago. The server to go with the dining room table was just delivered on yesterday 10/11/2021. When the delivery crew arrived (I was the last stop #14) they informed me that the server was damaged, the sides were scratched up and the doors were detached. He stated that the item was used and I should request a new one immediately. He advised me to allow them to let the damaged item to sit in my garage and someone from corporate would contact me shortly to discuss replacing the damaged item. Guess what???? No one ever contacted me. I called Rooms to Go corporate to discuss my dilemma and no one was aware of ANYTHING that happened. The delivery guy lied to me about making anyone aware of my damaged server and that there were plenty more severs in stock, that was a BIG LIE as well. When speaking with corporate today the earliest that they could replace my server is April 2022. The items have been paid for in full. I purchased an entire bedroom suit with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress for my mother, a sectional living room suite, and accessories in September of 2019 and had major problems with defective furniture. I tried to overlook ALL of the problems and purchase additional furniture this time because of the stellar customer service that I received from Demetrius. I made a terrible big mistake again but I have learned my lesson!!! I will NEVER purchase another item from Rooms to Go again!!!
