Cant believe what used to be an old junked train yard and dump crawling with rats has now turned into this trendy, upscale, beautiful shopping place. Just about any budget can shop here. There are so many different kinds of shops and food/drink places to choose from for all ages, store preferences and wallet sizes. From less expensive stores like Kmart, Christmas Tree Shop and Carters, to more expensive like Ralph Lauren. They even have a craft store, bars, restaurants including Legal Seafoods and Outback Steak House. Plus Starbucks, burger joints, ice cream parlors and dessert shops. Not to mention Lego Land. It is an outdoor shopping center and a very big one at that. It stretches over many many blocks so I recommend dressing accordingly to weather. They have off street parking, outdoor parking lot, & garage parking. Parking on the street requires meter payment in most areas & you pay for the garage parking, but if you can find a space in the outdoor parking lot, that is free. I suggest either taking train there or parking in the garage. Otherwise no matter what time or year or just about time of day you will not be able to get a parking space without having to drive around searching numerous times over. Just saying it's crazy to park there is an understatement. The worst times of day to park is happy hour and on weekends but regardless it is overall very difficult to find a free or metered parking space anywhere remotely close to where you plan to shop. Still this is a beautiful location for all walks of life, any group size or even flying...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei remember years ago when this place used to be a spot where they sold christmas trees and Strawberry Records was here. alot has changed since then now you have acess to the Train Station Via the Skywalk before you had to walk way up that annoying hill across the bridge. but apart from that the shops they put here dont really impress me im sure they will be alot more affordable once Assembly Row opens ( it looks expensive already!) but really its ok nothing to get a excited over oooh! a walgreens coldstone, blah blah just average stores and slighty ok restaurants basically once you arrive at the skywalk garage you ask yourself why was i even here? theres nothing much to see bottom line if you need just a few things and access to the train come here apart from that head into Boston, its not as great as it really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad most things but I specifically was going to Walgreens which suddenly closed permanently. Now having a car I wasted hours and hours. Almost whole day. Won't return even for Regina's sigh because the website didn't even show it closed. Adios Walgreens, with over$1,000 in necessary medicine, I discovered how much you rip People off. Instead of $1,000 I paid in total $135 for necessary meds. Helpful hint. Use a community health pharmacy instead. Walgreens charged over $430 for one Rx, I paid$13.99 Never again. My medicine helps me stay alive and fight cancer. I saved 99% by figuring out Walgreens has been ripping me off, to say the least for past 3 years. Imagine? Spread the word....
