Gordon Food Service Store — Attraction in Michigan City

We love Gordon's. Going to school in Indiana in the late 80s and the 1990s, I and many of my friends loved the fiestada Mexican pizzas. They're so good they pretty much became a core memory, lol. I hadn't had one in years when a friend told me that I could order them by the case here. Sure enough, he was right. Great value for a case of 72 and they taste just as great as I remembered. They don't have them in the store, but you can order them and they usually have them in within 1 day!

We also love to buy the 5lb cases of gyro meat, the feta cheese, and the tzatziki sauce to make gyros at home. Much better than the box kits you can buy at most stores. Always good deals to be found here. Clean and well stocked store. Friendly employees and management. Always a good...

Gordon Food Service Store in Michigan City is a reliable and well-managed spot for great deals, and their unbeatable $3 rotisserie chicken deal from 4-6 PM is no exception. Recently, they introduced purchase limits on this deal, which was a much-appreciated change. Before, I often found myself missing out on dinner plans, but since the new rules went into effect, I haven’t had any issues—definitely a thoughtful improvement.

I do know we are going through covid, but I was not pleased that I could not find what I was told was there and it was not! I live in Indiana and gas prices are no better! I called first and asked if they had any box of raw cod fish and they told me yes! When I got there, remember I said raw, not battered! All I saw was battered not raw. I complained because it was a waste of my time to come there and they had nothing! Shame on your store, Gordon Foods. They did apologize, but still made it no better. The Gordon's Foods in Merrillville at least told me that they were out.
