Vua Kho Bo — Attraction in Milpitas

I had bad experiences with this store (not only this location) before, but yesterday two Shanghaiese ladies changed my mind.

The snacks here you can say a little bit pricey, but I think they worth it since they do have a lot of varieties and some of them are hard to find a replacement. I love the plums, and got some olives as well yesterday. This store has been trying to push customers buy more than they want, and is dishonest when charging sometimes. They used to fulfill the bag without listening your call and weigh them not under your watch. But these two ladies were so nice, and give me exactly what I want. They also weighed and counted the price when the weight was steady while I was watching it.

They are the salesperson I expect to see when I go shopping. One star down for the price and other sales which I hope I won’t happen to...

Don’t let the current ratings cloud your judgement. This is a very unique store that offers far beyond beef jerky. It is a gourmet speciality store offering all sorts of snacks from the sea and from the land, sweet and savory, prepared using traditional method. Definitely worth visiting if you want some fun and healthy snacks, or something to go with a nice afternoon drink. Forget about the boring chips and the boring American kind beef jerky. The store is full of treasure.

I got the beef jerky, the dried squid and the honey walnut, love them all. It was a difficult decision because there are so many options!
