After joining your facility Tuesday December 31st. I scheduled an appointment for training with EZ the next day at 6pm. We had a lengthy conversation about it being a holiday, he said it was no problem he will already be there for another training. I left my family gathering to meet EZ because this was convenient for him and he was not there. The attendant behind the desk had a hard time reaching him and when he finally did he said that he got the appointments confused and just reschedule her for Saturday. I told the attendant I could not make it Saturday. I then sent an email to cancel my membership. The next day when I called to confirm the cancellation I was put on the phone with EZ. I was VERY ANGRY and did use some colorful language after EZ talked over me and was gaslighting me the entire conversation. Actions speak louder than words, I was told by EZ and Erik that they care very much for their clients and their gym. Those are just words I gave them till 12pm to answer my email or at least apologize and explain what happened. I was told EZ had a emergency with his kids, if that's the case an explanation would have changed this entire situation. The attendant behind the desk said sorry for the mix up. I get it stuff happens but gaslighting me and treating me like I'm the problem is not anyway to...
Read moreLacks personality. The Bensalem crunch blows it out of the water. The Bensalem location has a friendly staff, high energy environment and are very approachable and understanding. They make you want to come back to the location. They are excited to have you work out there. The moorestown location is dull, unexciting and bland. Nothing about it makes me want to return at all. Good clientele at both locations. But as a facility the moorestown one could use improvement. I’ve gone to several different gyms. Various planet fitnesses, edge fitness and crunch locations. And this location would rank on the bottom . I also feel like all gym locations should have lock codes installed in the door. I feel bringing your own personal lock is outdated. The personal trainer there is a strong personal trainer but she should be mindful to all guests and not just her clients. As a trainer you should make your client your main focus while also showing the same level of respect to all other members. Every member is equally important. As someone who is passionate to working out and will run 13-15 miles to attend a quality gym. I was quite disappointed. I do feel like with changes this location could be much better but as it currently stands it’s lacking. I would not even walk down the block to...
Read moreThe gym itself isn’t bad, but the staff are something else.
I go in to cancel my membership, give the guy at the counter my phone number, name and email. Got told “you’re good to go, I cancelled your membership.”
Two weeks later I get charged anyways, so I go back into the gym to ask why I got charged.
Long story short the guy failed to cancel my membership, assistant manager and the person working the front just giggled to each other about how it’s “so like x to mess this up” (so clearly this behaviour is okay to them)
Then when asked to be issued a refund got told that it’s “not possible” and then told “it’s not worth doing it for $20” - as well as the fact it was my fault for the extra charge since “I should have noticed that I didn’t get a confirmation email” …
Will never sign up for Crunch again, horrible experience due to staff that clearly don’t care and are not trained properly nor corrected when they...
