I started attending Benlolo jewelry studio in the very beginning of 2019. At that time I had some basic jewelry techniques under my belt. Upon starting the class David was easy to approach and speak with. His knowledge is extremely comprehensive and because of that I was able to grow exponentially. That being said I was committed in growing and learning new ideas and David Benlolo has techniques and enough experience that I couldn’t even learn it all if I wanted to. My point is that David can easily work with many kinds of projects and also can work with students on any level whether it’s a beginner or you’re ready to open a shop. David lends a full spectrum of jewelry techniques which put me on a whole other level. I was quite nervous about starting jewelry classes to enhance my family's small jewelry business in Dominica. The instructor, Collette, was absolutely amazing and patient with her hands-on demonstrations and moral support. She's been in the industry for several years and has vast knowledge on various jewelry techniques, tools, and tips and tricks of the trade. Every class we received handouts and learned new things. I was able to complete a ring, solder a chain from scratch, and made a wax mold of a popular Dominican jewelry pattern. I loved the class and had a lot of fun.
