This place offers a lot of things all under one roof, from food to candy to groceries to household items to toys and a seating area. They have a focus on Asian culture, which is cool, but also not all they offer. If you take the time to browse the entire establishment, you’re definitely bound to find something intriguing to buy as I did.

FOOD - if you’re looking for food, they have a hot buffet, cold buffet, food made to order, pre made food, a wide section of drinks, a grocery section they have a whole dedicated candy section. You can definitely find something, but it may not be the most fulfilling meal you could get in the area. I ordering their “Tonkatsu” ramen (instead of tonkotsu), a Cobb salad and a few exotic drinks. I was expecting the ramen to be tastier, but it was very similar to instant ramen (with the flavor pack) and they just added a few veggies and two slices of pork. It was fine, but not worth ordering again. The Cobb salad was very filling and tasty, but there was not enough dressing and I wasn’t asked how much dressing I wanted. The drinks were very unique and good if you want to try something different then what you’re use to.

This is a great place to get random items that you may not need, but you find them amusing enough to purchase. They have funny aprons and socks. They have toys and mainstream entertainment items that are great for children (like the avengers, dragon ball z,...

Never have I ever been treated with so much disrespect from an employee in my life. I call to place an order for a fruit platter this morning, and mind you I've been ordering fruit platters from this location since they first opened and have never been told that there's a minimum amount of people for the platter (apparently it's 7). I kindly ask the girl over the phone if this is a new policy because I've never been informed of this before in the past, whenever I ordered a platter for 6 people. She responds with an annoyed tone telling me this is how it's always been. The attitude was unnecessary and I would've never felt this way if she just told me this respectfully. She continues on to give me an attitude while asking for my delivery address and payment, then she hangs up the phone and charges my card without even telling me the total price. I then get the platter delivered and noticed there's even less fruits cut out for 7 people than for 6 people since I've ordered this multiple times. Not only did I have to be treated with such disrespect, I also got scammed for my money. Sad to say I won't be coming back...

Food is almost delicious for the most part and the employees (especially the sandwich and salad guys) are very nice. However...the prices are incredibly outrageous. Do not go there if you are a New Yorker and not a tourist, it is literally a rip off, probably because of the location across from the Empire State. I work just around the corner, and used to go there a lot, since, as I have said, food and service are good. But no more. After overpaying yet again I decided to boycott this place I am am hoping that other New Yorkers will do that as well, so that the owners will realize that there are limits to overcharging customers. Just in case the owners read this: you have once again charged me three times more on an item than the price on the sticker. I understand that this must have been a mistake, but that really is not my problem, and since I had no time to argue, I just paid and left. Left for good...you will not see me there ever again.

EDIT: it has gotten better, and they will no longer try to nickel and dime you. Customer service much better as well. I am upgrading the review from...

The food is great here, but I would double check your receipt!!! I come here at least once a week and I have been overcharged multiple times. It would start off with something small like charging for rice when the meal came with it or mistyping the price of my food. I think there is a cashier that doesn't know a lot about the grab-n-go section, because she told me that my teriyaki bowl did not come with rice... She told me only the soups came with free rice, which is not true. I have gotten the bibimbap bowl from here and it always came with free rice. So essentially I have to eat my chicken teriyaki meal with no rice (kind of odd). I didn't want to make a big deal of it so I just left, but I think they should have a scanning system and have a sign that states what foods come with free rice on the side. I would come here again, but it is not my first choice anymore.

I liked it a lot. It's right across from the Empire State buiilding. You can come in and serve yourself with a ton of different food, drinks, pastry, fruit, veggies or candy options. Weigh your plate and pay by the pound. The prices are fair for NYC, and you can really find anything you like, from meat, fish, pasta, veggie or vegan options- just pile the preferred food on your plate and go to the cashier. You can eat there using plastic utensils or take it out. Enjoy!
