Edy Barber — Local services in New York

Edy has been cutting my hair since 2016 -- even after I moved out of the city to work overseas, went to grad school, etc., when I came back to NYC I sought out Edy again. I've followed him from across the three shops he's moved to.

The experience is great -- I call him shortly before walking in, can get an appointment in the same day, get a nice super clean cut for $25 in 30m and I call it a day. He's respectful, knowledgable, and a hard worker. He's meticulous and takes a lot of time to get the cut right. He knows how to deal with Asian hair and he has customers from young to old, from every background. I don't think there is any barber in Midtown that can rival this.

For a long time I considered not leaving a review because I wanted to gate-keep, but honestly he deserves as much business as possible.
