Review of Bogart House, Brooklyn
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bogart House in Brooklyn, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. This unique venue offers a distinctive blend of spaces tailored for both fitness enthusiasts and event-goers alike.
The first two floors are dedicated to acrobatics and exercise, providing state-of-the-art facilities that cater to a wide range of physical activities. Whether you're into aerial arts, yoga, or high-energy workouts, the well-equipped studios and expansive spaces ensure that you have everything you need for a productive and enjoyable session. The atmosphere is invigorating, and the professional-grade equipment and supportive environment make it an ideal spot for fitness aficionados.
Moving upwards, the third and fourth floors, along with the multi-level rooftop, transform into a versatile and stylish event space. These floors are perfect for hosting an array of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale parties. The sophisticated decor and modern amenities provide a chic and comfortable setting that can be tailored to suit any occasion.
One of the standout features of Bogart House is the breathtaking views of Manhattan. The panoramic vistas from the rooftop are truly stunning and add a magical touch to any event. Whether you're hosting a daytime brunch or an evening soiree, the city skyline creates a mesmerizing backdrop that your guests will be talking about long after the event ends.
Overall, Bogart House is an absolute must for anyone looking to host an event in Brooklyn. Its combination of excellent facilities, stunning views, and versatile event spaces make it a top choice. Read moreI recently hosted a birthday party at Bogart House, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience! Steve, Loic, Simone & their team were so great to work with in terms of setting up the event (e.g, reserving the space, accommodating our DJ set up, moving furniture, etc.)
From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was absolutely magical. We reserved the 3rd floor which was a perfect setup for a 130+ person party. The venue effortlessly blends modern elegance with a warm and inviting atmosphere, creating the perfect setting for a celebration. The lighting and decor added an extra layer of charm, especially when the sun began to set, and the rooftop views were a showstopper that had all our guests raving. It's perfect for both an indoor event when it's cold and an outdoor event when it's warm.
The staff at Bogart House were phenomenal—attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail of our event was flawless. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a larger event, Bogart House is the perfect choice. They exceeded all my expectations, and I can't recommend them enough for any special occasion. My birthday party was truly unforgettable, and I'll definitely be back for future...
Read moreExtremely terrible experience having an event here. Such a disaster that we had to dispute payment because they grossly violated & breached the terms of our contract.
Be VERY wary of booking events here. They aren't afraid to call the POLICE on your Black event attendees because they/venue failed to set up a proper queuing system, & failed to book adequate security – even though we offered to book additional and they declined!
Also, for anyone wondering, they charge $5000 - $7000 to book the venue, and no, they do NOT give a split of the bar percentage.
Capacity is around 250, they will lie and say its 400 "if the sun is out". LMAO. This is a lie. Beware.
They do NOT 'comp' bottles or drinks for talent, they will make you buy bottles as an event organiser -- even if they offer a discount, they won't honour it the day of. Beware.
They will continuously turn DOWN the volume of the music even though it isn't 'in the red/clipping'. Micro-aggressive. Beware.
They are better suited for things like Mitzvahs and Wedding parties. Mainly, low volume 'non-POC' crowds.
They do not work well with Black events, but they wont hesitate to grab the cash.
Yes, it looks nice, but don't be naive. You've been warned.
I'm sure someone will respond concocting some baseless reasons or make it seem like this 'didn't happen',...
