Yura on East End — Restaurant in New York

Honestly their breakfast is good.Coffee, baked goods. place is nice and clean and all the female staff are really nice but I have decided to make today the last day I give my hard earned money to this business.. This is the 3rd time I’ve been treated like I’m begging for a cup of coffee by the owner( just found out this morning he’s the owner). For the past year I’ve endured his rude behavior towards me without understanding why because I’ve seen him interact with the other customers so I decided I’m overly sensitive and kept going but this morning proved to me that he definitely has a problem with me . My good morning went unanswered as usual, I was passed over for two men that came after me then a 3rd customer was about to be served with a jovial “How are you” from him, the customer said this lady was here first, he looked to me and said “YES”? Like I do every morning I said “may I please have a large hot coffee with half and half”? He turned and proceeded to pour milk, I said “Half and half please”. He told me he already poured the milk. At this point my common courtesies vacated my body and I said “well like I have done for the pass year at least 2x per week I would like half and half” Honestly he is a rude grumpy man and maybe my $2+ won’t dent his business but I refuse to contribute to his...

I have never written a review in my entire life. But the owner of this establishment is so unwelcoming, I feel like I must vent somewhere.

The owner is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. I have been going here for over a year and a half (on a weekly basis) and he refuses to acknowledge me whenever I am trying to order. He will purposely look past me and help the person who is next in line. And when he finally does get around to taking my order, it seems as though it is a total inconvenience. A nightmare of hospitality. I’ll never be back to this place ever again. I’ve told my friends and family ignore this place.

Passive aggressive behavior of the employees. At the counter I’ve been told if I don’t see the drink I want on the chipboard, that means they don’t have it, and I shouldn’t ask that drink. I was rushed to choose smth else three times, cause I’m on the way of other customers. There was also a tag on a bakery I wanted. It turned out that it was just a label randomly stuck into baked goods that they didn’t have. I was told not to ask for things they don't have. I’ve asked to remove the incorrect tag then.
