When it comes to plant-based dining, finding a truly memorable meal can be like searching for a rare gem. But let me tell you, Kotti Berliner Doner Kebab has managed to deliver an experience that I won’t soon forget. Let’s start with the vegan wrap—though, to be honest, it felt more like a perfectly constructed sandwich. This birthday gift from a thoughtful friend had me stepping out of my usual no-tofu zone. And wow, what an exception it turned out to be. The tofu wasn’t just there for the ride; it was marinated to perfection, blending seamlessly with the veggie mix. Now, let’s talk bread. A crisp sesame riddled exterior gave way to a soft, pillowy bite, striking that elusive balance between texture and flavor. Each topping brought its A-game, adding layers of crunch, tang, and brightness that danced in harmony with every bite. And then there was the special vegan sauce—the kind of condiment that elevates a meal from good to unforgettable. It was creamy, tangy, and herbaceous, tying everything together like a symphony of flavor. The experience was made even better by the cook. Their patience, friendliness, and genuine care shone through in every element of the meal. It wasn’t just food; it was a crafted experience that left me eager to return. Kotti Berliner Doner Kebab isn’t just serving vegan food—they’re setting the standard for how satisfying, flavorful, and downright exciting plant-based dining can be. If you’re even remotely curious about vegan fare, or just crave a culinary adventure, this is the place to go. Trust me, one bite and you’ll be planning your next visit.

I’m blown away by the consistent quality of Kotti. Every time I get a kebab, the meat is delicious and hot, seasoned perfectly with cumin, turmeric, and other tasty stuff. The cold topping are consistently crispy and fresh. The picked onion and cabbage is just right, not too tart with just the right amount of acidity cutting through the richness of the chicken thighs, garlic sauce, and cheese. The bread is on point, just the right amount of thin crisp crust topped with poppy and sesame. The inside remains fluffy and light, with big holes in the crump perfect for containing the juicy sauce and meat combo. Take whatever vision you have for a kebab and throw it out the window. This will redefine your expectations for doner kebabs. Reasonably priced too for a huge portion.

Stopped here for a "quick" bite before the weekend was over. It's inside the Dekalb Market Hall near the escalator. We ordered two döner kebabs. One beef, one chicken. The total came to about $33. I was curious if they'd made some mistake, but as we watched them assemble these behemoths, we were assured the price was no error. We stopped by Fort Green Park to eat our respective döners, and needless to say, neither of us could finish, despite exceedingly wanting to, due to the delicious flavors and spices. While not as authentic as a döner stop at 2am in Munich, this place will fill you UP with tasty kebab meat. If you're looking to try it with a friend, trust me, split one kebab. Loved it!

I don't recommend this place if you need to eat halal. They have a very misleading certificate that claims to be halal but they sell both halal and non-halal chicken. One of the staff was kind enough to tell us the truth that today's chicken is not halal (she's a real one!) But the establishment is unethical for having that sign up if their protein is not actually halal.

*update to owners response: its hard to trust a place that sells both halal and haram meat. How would employees efficiently track and differentiate halal from haram. I imagine mistakes not to be unheard of. Additionally, you sell alcohol which is clearly haram. How can anyone trust you to stick to halal standards when your selling haram items...
