I was contacted by this gallery via social media because they saw my potential. I was of course very happy about this. I sign the contract they sent over by email and paid for an exhibition that I was promised. I sent down 3 paintings for the exhibition (that I paid for) But the exhibition never took place and my paintings were never exhibited, they had always been in the packaging they came in (this was confirmed later) When the covid pandemic exploded, I was told that I had to physically retrieve my paintings within a certain time, that’s when they confirmed that my paintings had been in the same packaging it came with. Fortunately, these paintings were taken care of by someone who contacted me, to exhibit them elsewhere. I have tried to contact them several times after they asked me to pick up the paintings, to end the relationship. I then wanted to end the agreement in the contract, because they could no longer store my paintings and otherwise poor communication. I live on the other side of the world and if the paintings were to be sold, it would be easier if they were down there. According to the contract, I can Within (30 days notice from either me or the gallery, choose to cancel the contract / relationship) it has now been almost 1 year since I notified and they have not yet responded to my emails. I have also called them several times, but are never transferred to a person in charge, and they never call me back. What they have done is blocked me on social media and on the website they still represent me and my art.. So if you are an artist, with a dream and are contacted by this so-called gallery, steer clear, especially if you come from another country. (it's always easier to fool an artist who lives on the other side of the world) Please take this into account if you are contacted by them.
