I got the Groupon to enjoy the 80-minute essential massage and foot mask with the meal after during my stay in NYC. Love that I got a quick tour of the place before getting ready for my spa treatment. It was great that they were able to get me started early before my appointment. This place is very well maintained. After changing into the robe, I helped myself with some peanuts and water and sat in the lounge, facing the calming water fountain which was in the center of the room. There was a table of crackers and peanuts for the guests to eat while waiting. Stephanie called me and ushered me into one of the rooms. It was 80 minutes of pure relaxation and bliss. Great pressure at the start then more swedish, sweeping motions with the oils. Very thorough scalp and head massage while face down and also face up. The foot mask was good since I had been walking a lot. The stretches were good too and much needed. Stephanie melted the tension, aches and pain. All the options for the complimentary food sounded delicious. I opted for the shrimp, chicken and mushroom pasta and it was a plate of yummy goodness! So glad I found this place. Highly recommended! I wish they had one in San Antonio.

I’ve been to many “Spas” in NYC and different states, and I must say that this place by far has been the worst place I’ve been to. I went there for a hot stone massage (gift), and it was mediocre. The customer service was ok, it felt fake. The back area where you sit and wait, is extremely dark. The chairs are worn out and you sink in,( I’m petite). There’s no hot tea and biscuit station as many other places. The bathrobes and towels are dingy in cleanliness and worn out, they definitely need to purchase better ones. The rooms are extremely small and not very inviting. No scented candles or relaxing ambience. Light switch cover had mold on it. The massage bed had a weird smell to it. The lady that massaged me was very rough to which I had to tell her to go easy numerous times. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. It’s extremely disappointing that they charge so much for any service. I wouldn’t take my dog there.

I cannot recommend Eden Med Spa enough. From start to finish, every detail of our visit was pure bliss. We did the full body scrub, a couples massage, and a foot soak/massage — and each service was beyond exceptional. The level of care and hospitality we received made us feel truly pampered, and don’t even get me started on the tea… it was the perfect finishing touch to a flawless experience. I’ve been on the hunt for my go-to spa in NYC, and I can confidently say: I’ve found my spa home. Thank you to the entire team at Eden for creating such a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of the city. Already counting down to my next visit!

I'm a massage therapist and small spa owner myself, so massage is always my top vacation priority. The facility was nice, clean, and relaxing. The staff was pleasant. I booked the signature massage because of the combination of techniques it would use. The massage was good, being that the business is classified as a Med Spa, I expected a massage catered to therapeutic needs with a touch of pampering. That's what I got, but not in a combination catered to my individual needs; I believe there may have been a specific protocol routine for this massage. There was no intake form to fill out and no pre massage consultation. I was just told to get on the table. I decided to wait a few minutes to survey the therapists skills and natural intuition to find areas of tension. The back portion of the massage was fairly thorough with adequate pressure. She occasionally honed in on some active trigger points, but only briefly before moving on; it was a little back and forth from one area to another and back again, but over all I was satisfied with the back portion of the massage. I mentioned in conversation that I was from out of town and feet and legs were sore from walking, and that I'd recently tweaked a muscle in my neck. She told me she'd been doing this for 16 years, to trust her, and that they were a very famous NY spa. These areas were grazed over with little pressure. After a brief posterior neck massage, I asked if she could do the front of my neck. She asked if I wanted more neck and did mostly the same thing she already did to the back of my neck again. At this point I realized there was a a bit of a language barrier so I let it go just enjoyed the pampering. It was still a nice massage and experience; I will definitely return and would be happy to see the same therapist again(Annie), but I recommend to anyone seeking specific therapeutic work to call ahead to express their needs. I booked on-line and did not realize there might be some communication issues with the therapists. I'd also recommend to the business, the use of letter sized laminated body charts for clients to circle with a dry erase marker the areas they'd like their therapist...

purchased the package 1 special with the nutrition scrub, derm young facial, balancing massage and foot soak. the scrub was incredible, and arguably the best thing about the package. felt like a massage in itself, vichy shower was so relaxing, and my aesthetician was so polite and kind. i'd pay the full price on that. the massage was next, and it was really mediocre, unfortunately. of course since it wasn't a deep tissue, i wasn't expecting much. not worth full price on that, but if you get a deal, its nice and relaxing. the facial was where i got a bit irritated. i don't mind being upsold, but unnecessary comments on one's skin is tacky. my skin is exceptionally clear, i get facials regularly, and the woman asked multiple times on a package add on when it wasn't needed and she insisted it was, and made comments on how the value of the facial was 198 dollars or whatever (not sure if she was insinuating i couldn't afford it? but...ok?). the results of the facial were great, but it makes me hesitant to go back for facials with the upselling. the foot soak was laughable. i don't see how anyone would pay money for what was a literal plopping of feet into warm water for 15 minutes. don't bother on that, but it was part of my package. overall, it's a nice, clean place with beautiful interior. you get a locker, robe, and access to a sauna room, little perks that make up for a sometimes lackluster experience. i'll be back, but with a package or deal, since i find spa membership options at my go to places to be more affordable, more convenient and...

RIPP OFF PLACE ! Our experience in Eden Day Spa was not HORRIBLE due to staff that are more interested in your money than in your well being. We purchased a 3 treatments combo in Groupon, the spa haven't mentioned on the deal that the taxes were not included. Tips were 50 % of what we paid as they are asking you to tips them on the original price of the treatments. They also said you can choose between different type of facial which wasn't true either as the lady told me she can't do the deep cleaning without a 40$ extra serum. The therapist which was rude to me, keep arguing with me saying that I really need it and I should pay the extra as my skin doesn't look good. After I refused several times her extra services she told me that she will do the regular facial, adding that: "As you don't want to pay, I will offer you to apply a mask for free". As mask is a must on every facial, I found it very ironic. Moreover the mask is a sheet as the one you bought on every supermarkets, what a disappointment ! I found the situation very inappropriate as I came there to relax and I had already purchase the treatment that i wanted. Moreover the treatment place is not the right place to discuss money. The place was not very clean either and I was not tempted to put my feet in their shower. The meal that they offer us was a kid portion of noodles with 2 slices of zucchinis and mushrooms with no taste. That is the first time I am so disappointed by going to a spa, I will...
