Don't waste your time. I recall going to this attraction many many years ago, roughly 8 to 10 years ago. The first time I went, I had no expectations, which is why I really enjoyed it. I went back the following year with high expectations and ended up being very disappointed. I vowed to never go back, fast forward 8 to 10 years later. I went Saturday 10/12 around 9 pm. We had the overly expensive RIP pass which after taxes and fees comes out to $70.40. I'm not one to complain about pricing for a haunted attraction, I typically do one a week every weekend in October, but for this attractions it's 100% not worth it and save yourself the money, time and disappointment don't go. We waited about 15 mins in the RIP section before being brought into the haunted house. We walked in and we're done in about maybe just under 10 mins. It was too bright inside which took away from the dark haunted experience. I'm glad the actors breath smelt decent because they get really close to your face so you have to smell their breath that was honestly the only good experience throughout the attraction. It was the same boring walkthrough, with the 3D experience towards the second half of the haunt which to be honest wasn't really a 3D experience at all. They should really just drop that and remodel the entire attraction. I'm shocked for an attraction in NYC with all the talented artist and all the theater folks in the area this would be so much better, but it's not and you'll be highly disappointed. You're better off going into your bathroom, turning off the lights and screaming bloody mary 13 times into the mirror for a better experience. If you're looking for a really good experience I would highly recommend Darkside Haunted house on Long Island.
So to summarize, it's expensive for a 10 minute experience. It's boring, not scary and outdated.

Read moreI went on the very last night of the final season showing (save for the special Lights Out event) and at the 11:30 PM time slot. There was no wait and no preambling long speech about rules and such, which I appreciated. Since my friend dropped out last minute, I went alone and had a really fantastic time. If you can go alone, it's wonderful and only increases the tension and heightened surprise around every corner.
I've been to many haunted houses and find most of them rather unimpressive or generally not scary at all, but this one managed to get my heart rate up and got at least a few jump scares out of me, especially in the first half. It was overall a great thrill ride, especially going in alone, and I really enjoyed the immersion, the commitment of the actors and the detailed, colorful set designs and cool animatronics. There were times I wanted to walk even slower to really take everything in and enjoy it. I spent most of the time laughing with glee and saying to myself "THIS IS DOPE."
While the 3D glasses section didn't do much for me (maybe it's just my eyesight, but the effects here looked a bit blurry and not very three-dimensional), that's a minor critique. This haunt is also quite expensive, but in my opinion worth it if you love these kind of immersive experiences, especially of the scary variety. Bonus points for the friendly staff letting me switch my time slot from 7 pm to 11:30 after my friend dropped out with no...
Read moreAs members of the Brooklyn Paranormal Society, we recently had the opportunity to investigate Blood Manor in Manhattan. We were blown away by the level of detail and authenticity of the haunted house attraction, and we were thrilled to have some truly paranormal experiences during our visit.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported into a world of terror and horror. The sets were incredibly realistic, and the actors were incredibly convincing. As we made our way through the haunted house, we experienced strange noises, sudden temperature changes, and unexplained shadows and apparitions. We were truly terrified, and we were convinced that there was something supernatural going on at Blood Manor.
One of the most memorable moments of our visit came when we encountered the ghost of a firefighter who had died in a tragic accident at the building many years ago. The ghost appeared out of nowhere, and we were all struck by the intensity of his presence. We could feel the sadness and anger emanating from him, and we were left with no doubt that this was a real ghost.
After our investigation, we were convinced that Blood Manor is definitely haunted. The level of paranormal activity we experienced was off the charts, and we can't wait to go back and conduct further investigations. We highly recommend Blood Manor to anyone who is interested in the paranormal, and we encourage you to join us on our next...
