And just like that, I will never step foot in this place again. I frequent the area so I usually come here to buy small items and have never had an issue.

Today I was watched and glared at by a gentleman who works there, while I picked up some groceries. As I went to checkout the woman up front stepped away. I looked for her because I needed assistance with checkout. When she didn’t return I tried to pay for the item to the best of MY knowledge.

She “suddenly” reappears and shames me while readjusting the item on screen. As if I had a reason to steal or cheat the system. The prices are not clear and had she been at her post, there would be no issue.

I’ve also seen people steal from this place before and have not been stopped or approached.

Oh my god. I frequent this place so often that I've never bothered to write a review-until today. The sheer number of times I've bought spoiled items from here is outrageous! Truffle mayo, fish, milk, eggs-you name it, they've sold it rotten. Today was the last straw. I went to pick up some hummus for dinner, and as I was leaving, I noticed blue ink all over my expensive shirt, my hands, and my arms. I had no idea where it came from until I looked at the hummus. THE LID WAS LEAKING BLUE INK!! They claimed they'd never seen that before, but I knew they were lying. I went back to the hummus section and saw HALF THE HUMMUS CONTAINERS WERE LIKE THAT! Absolutely horrendous. They REFUSED to pay for the damage to my shirt and the dermatologist appointments I had to schedule to fix the rashes caused by the toxic ink. Never again. I buy my lunch here every weekday. The checkout lines can get long between 1pm & 2pm but don't let this deter you. They expect this because it happens daily so they have every cashier working at once to keep it moving fast. Nice salad bar, soup, and sushi selection. Hot food also available, as well as cold drinks (including beer), fresh produce, deli, and pretty much anything else you'd find at a grocery store or supermarket.
