Epic Polar — Local services in New York

Not enough can be said about how far Julia/Epic Polar will go above and beyond for you, to have your dream adventures come true! On my 1st trip down to Antarctica, I was fortunate enough to find Epic Polar, and she helped guide me every step of the way, to make sure I was good to go for the trip! Fast-forward to the week of my 1st trip and the day we flew down to Buenos Aires, the cruise agency taking us to Antarctica cancelled on us due to COVID on Thanksgiving day (2 days before departing from port)! I was devastated, along with everyone else who was supposed to go. I informed Julia of the bad news... and what did she do? She IMMEDIATELY started looking for other options! While everyone else who booked through travel agents tried to get in-contact, they all had no luck due to the holiday, but, not only did Julia manage to find me a last-minute cruise option to fill in for a similar itinerary I was supposed to originally take, she managed to do the same for 20 others (see pic of enitre group of randoms-now-friends she managed to help!) from our cancelled cruise, after I spread the word she was able to help! I managed to get to Antarctica because of her!

From that very 1st experience with her, I have used her for all my big trips to Include the Arctic (visiting Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands), to a 2nd cruise cruise to Antarctica, and now she is in the process of booking my next adventure to do the Mt. Everest Basecamp Trek and exploring Nepal!

It goes without saying, Epic Polar is hands-down the greatest company/agency anyone could use if looking to book a trip to the poles, and other more unique locations! The effort Epic Polar puts forth to make everything go as smoothly as possible is truely next-level, and you will be doing yourself a huuuuuuge disservice if you don't book through them!

Our trip to Antarctica was more than a year in the making. When we first visited Ushuaia following our Patagonia hiking trip, we knew that we should plan to visit the 7th continent soon. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found Julia and Epic Polar Cruises. She made the planning as seamless as possible. She offered us various options and patiently explained to us in much detail the strengths of each expedition. She was sensitive to our initial concerns about cost and downpayment and made sure that she was able to offer us an acceptable option. Leading up to the trip, I had several questions and Julia answered each and every one of them. She did not make me feel like I was bothering her at all. I felt like she was a good friend (always making sure that all my concerns were addressed) rather than just a simple travel planner. Julia kept in touch even throughout our trip and after. It was refreshing to know that she was just as excited as we were during our entire expedition. We are now planning on visiting the Arctic soon, and without a doubt, we will entrust the planning all to Epic...

I was the leader of a Malaysian group of 18 persons, mostly above 60 years old. I was fortunate to gain the services of Julia Wright and Epic Polar to help arrange a Spitsbergen Arctic cruise with Q* Exp* . She was patient from the very start in helping me get best quotes from two cruise lines. After we had made our selection, Julia went beyond her duties and helped us secure sweet deals. When we had differences with the cruise line, she used her best efforts to break the deadlock and to get us reasonable extras like tours in Longyearbyen. When some members of our Group were infected by Covid19 while on board, she helped us secure some credits for future cruises. She certainly had our backs covered at all times and we felt confident and safe with her managing our expedition. She will be handling my expedition in 2024 to Patagonia, too!
