Gator Hole Plaza/ Walmart — Attraction in North Myrtle Beach

Another shopping plaza that is getting busier and busier. Of the three Walmarts in the Myrtle area i know about, this one is the worst when it comes to keeping shelves stocked. I prefer the one at Rte 22 near the Tanger outlets. Much nicer, better layout, nicer staff and better variety of products. Anyway, Gator Hole also has a Home Depot, IHOP, a few fast food chains, and several restaurants in the strip, as well as a dollar store, tax place, and a small GameStop amongst it's businesses. The Walmart is crazy busy all the time, even off season now. Getting handicap accessible parking is a challenge, as is getting a motorized cart just because of the number of retired folks in the area. Not a criticism, just a statement of fact from a newly disabled person. Busy please because it is the closest shopping for a lot of folks on the North end...

We we're in North Myrtle Beach on a family vacation, we chose Walmart to do our grocery shopping. The staff from the moment we walked through the door was very friendly. They spoke to us in passing. This was not a one day thing we visited the Walmart several times. We had to place a big wing order and we spoke to the deli manager she assured us she would be there and by the time we made it, she was gone. She also failed to pass the message on your her co-workers. When we showed up they were changing shifts Mrs. Pattie or Peggie(sorry if her name is wrong) older woman very sweet.
