Claire's — Attraction in Palmdale

I had a horrible experience. I'd give zero starts if I could. For my daughter's fourth birthday we promised to get her ears pierced. We walked in, there was a girl who worked there getting ready to pierce a teenage boy's ears. She told us she would be right with us as soon as she was done with him. Well he was having a hard time deciding what earrings he wanted, then he was extremely nervous, he had a bunch of family supporting him , pulling out their cameras to record this event in his life. It was a whole lotta shenanigans!! While we patiently waited, another woman walked up to us and told us we would have to step outside of the store she was closing the gate because it was close to closing time. I looked at my watch and said you don't close for another 10 mins. She said yes but it takes time to close to store down and you can't be inside while we are doing so. I explained that we had been patiently waiting for the past 20 plus mins for this teenager to get his ears pierced and it was our turn next. She said she didn't care it was closing time and we need to step out of the store. I was extremely upset. My daughter was in tears! We waisted 20 plus minutes standing around for nothing. If they would have explained that after a certain time they wouldn't have helped us I would have understood. The girl who told us we'd be next never even looked over at us while we were told to leave. Needless to say we were all very upset!! It was a bad experience and I won't be going back. We ended up going somewhere else and had a much better experience! We were in and out in less then 10 mins. And paid less! It worked out for us. Unfortunately they lost...

I'm so tired of tattoo shops and artists and their friends and relatives spreading false rumors about Claire's because we almost didn't go. My daughter's friend at school told her she had a great experience at Claire's so I did some research on my own and loved the FAQ section on their website. We went today and spoke with one of the most friendliest and knowledgeable people we have met in a long time that wasn't just trying to make sale. Her name is Delia and we loved being able to talk with her about the ear piercing process. Claire's does not use a piercing gun and they are cleaner than any tattoo shop you go to. I feel if you want a tattoo shop go to a tattoo shop, if you want to take your kids to pierce their ears or any other piercings Claire's can do, you go to Claire's! Delia directed us to their Sister store Icing also in the same mall (across from b&b works) since they had the piercing starter kit we were looking for and recommended Giselle stating they are all licensed, trained and knowledgeable to be able to work there. Our daughter started to change her mind about getting her ear pierced when she got in the chair because she was scared but Giselle was so patient with her (&us). We got to see Giselle also providing great customer service to other shoppers as well. We had such an amazing experience and we'll be back because their stores are a shopper's dream, full of tons of products and discounts given with friendly service. I highly recommend...

Today went to take my year old daughter to get her ears pieced ,Yesenia was great and very patient with me and how I wanted my daughters ears piecing strait . The reason I am giving one star is because the other associate was the worst associate I have ever dealt with. We waited like 35 minutes for twins to get their ears done first . We were told that we were after them then the other associate not Yesenia (I didn't get the other girls name ) told me that there was a person before us which if I was told before hand that I would have wait inwoukd have found a nice to place to sit down considering I am 8 months pregnant. But was not informed of this so I kind of got up set she told me 15 minutes so we walk to placebto sit for a 15 minutes we walk they are still doing thr appointment which again isn't a big deal . When it was our turn the other associate didn't help to get my year old daughters ears done . No she didn't even want to help . She helped do both twins ears and was there to help the teen age girls but whwn it cane to me and year old daughter nope didn't even ask Yesenia If she needed some assistance. I was so beyond mad.
