Went to get our weekly chocolate banana shakes which are usually our favorites… However, this time, our shakes were full of mystery chunks… At first we thought maybe it was ice but then when we kept picking chunks of mystery debris out of our teeth that were white, black, and brown, we only hoped it was chunks of perhaps leftover coconut and maybe somehow, the banana peel accidentally got thrown in the blender when our shakes were being made… and we don’t even know what the other chunks were and we probably don’t want to know. So, I called and specifically spoke to the manager, Jeannie, and let her know that there were definitely chunks of coconut in our drink which my son has an allergy and she basically put it on me and said that was my fault for not telling her that he had a food allergy so that she could prepare his food in a clean blender and then, she stated that it was weird that there were even chunks of coconut in there because they only made one coconut shake, and that was early in the morning. Implying that I was lying… But really, just furthered their disgusting lack of cleaning methods because obviously chunks of the day’s shakes had piled up at the bottom of the blender and were served to us in our chocolate banana mystery debris shake. Jeanie had a poor attitude and asked how she could make it better. I said she should refund me for the shakes and she said I would need to go in there to get a slip for a free shake. She was definitely more annoyed by my call and not even worried about the fact that my son got unwanted coconut and other debris in the shake I let her know if my son ended up having issues due to the coconut allergy that She would be hearing from me and she said no problem and was very nonchalant but challenging… Very sad that such a great place has managed to find more people in this world who know nothing about quality customer service, and then promote them to management. We will be going back to the shake place in the food court… Perhaps their shakes aren’t as fantastic as Le Perk but at least we know we are not getting daily unwanted debris and chunks of crap mixed in...
Read moreCashier was rude. I do not appreciate when rushed to order. I asked for recommendations and he just pointed at the menu. Lack of professionalism. I ordered a few drinks and asked for whipped cream on one of them, to my surprise, the person who put whip on the drink had long, long, acrylic nails and put it inside the whip as she pressed on the tip of the bottle. I felt so disgusted! Nails grow more germs than a door knob:(
I did not say anything just because they were packed and I did not want to make scene in front of people. Management, please take a look at those details.
