Sugar Bar Salon — Attraction in Philadelphia

After 8 years of sugaring, beginning in Canada where Sugaring has been a norm for decades, I can safely say this is one of the first US sugaring salons that I feel most comfortable in. Most US sugarists I’ve had (I’ve been to many across the US) have been wonderful people & I’d say many good at what they do. But when it comes to the sugar (paste) product used and the atmosphere/ambience Sugar Bar has a huge leg up! From the second I walked it I felt comfortable, I didn’t question “am I in the right place?” Or “umm not so sure there isn’t something shady happening here”. My Sugarist or sugarista as they call themselves here, was wonderful. She was kind, talkative, knowledgeable of the products she was using and why, and even seemed to take my past experience & knowledge Into stride.

They are taking COVID 19 restriction seriously if you have that concern. And if you are new to sugaring this is a great place to come! You will not regret it. They know what they are doing.

Sugarbar is the only place I trust for sugaring and hair removal in the city. All of the employees are professional, welcoming, and make your whole experience fun and comfortable from the second you walk in the door. The whole aesthetic and ambiance of the salon has a clean and modern vibe. I've been going here for a few months and have been sugared by Alex & Kia - both amazing! They take their time and address any issues you might be dealing with and make sure you are happy with the results before they are done. First of all, let me say that if you’ve been thinking about sugaring but have been unsure or just feel like you haven’t had time to research a lot, drop what you’re doing and call the Sugar Bar Salon in Philadelphia. From booking my appointment til the end of my first service and even after, I was greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable, caring staff that made me feel like part of a family.
