I can not believe how bad this place is ran. This has to be the worst AMC theater in Phoenix. The management of this place needs to go back to basic training, if not fired. We came to watch Endgame. We bought our tickets online and reserved our seats. Every single showing was close to sold out and they had one playing every 30 minutes. Just by looking at this you would be able to see that it was going to be very busy at the theater. Not surprising to be that busy, it was a highly anticipated movie and it was opening weekend. We show up and the line to get in is wrapped around the building. Again not surprising, big movie weekend. This line moved pretty fast, but there was only one person taking tickets. The process could have been sped up if they would have had another ticket person. Next came the line for concessions. It went all the way to the end of the theater, next to the completely empty and unused concession stand. They only had 3 cashiers working for this super long line. There were only 5 or 6 people working behind the counter. It was crazy to see that many people in line with so little staff working. It took an hour to get our drinks. Some guy in front of us tried to order a pizza. He asked how long would it take to make a pizza and the cashier told him 4 hours. He told her but movies are only 2 hours and she told him that everyone else got here early so they could wait for their pizza. The soda stands were all broken except for one, and it only had coke and diet coke. Everything else was out. The mess was awful. The bathrooms were soooooo bad. My feet were sticking to the ground as I made my way through the bathroom. Each toilet was clogged and a nightmare. There was no soap and no towels. I have never seen a theater so destroyed. Garbage everywhere. Popcorn all over the floor. And everything was just sticky. I felt really bad for the staff. They were doing their best to take care of everyone, but there were just too many people. What kind of manager and general manager thinks its a good idea to have such a small staff working on such a busy weekend? It wasn't a surprise. Most of these tickets were bought in advance. I thought this was just poor planning on the managers part, but after reading other reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence at this location. It is time for new management.

Asked for two tickets to the 3 pm dogman show and they sold me the Looney tunes movie theater 18. I figured this out when the wrong movie started so we walked all the way back to the front and asked for the manager. A young, inexperienced manager swapped the tickets for me. I was told the movie hadn't started at 33 mins. past. We walked all the way back to theater 7 and we did watch the last remaining hour. After, I spoke to a second manager, then a GM. I asked for them to make this right by offering us passes or a refund. They simply refused and asked me to leave. I said I wouldn't ever come back and they said we don't want you back. FYI the seats are gross and stank. Turned my light on to see the strains that remain. The led display above all the entrance of a theater only has the words "welcome" . It's bad because if these mistakes are happening, what's to stop a little child from entering a rated R movie? I'm contesting my $11 ticket purchase with my bank. We did enjoy the popcorn and drink for $9 so that purchase can stay. And my son and I took booth photos there for an $ 8 purchase, and that can remain the same. $12 for parking service was definitely worth my money. Other than that, we still don't know how the dog and the man became DOGMAN. The photo is how my son wanted to dress for this special day.

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. SHOULD PROBABLY CONSIDER A DIFFERENT CINEMA ALTOGETHER. The single entrance was hidden. A sign, posted anywhere, would go a long way directing visitors. Visiting from out of town after walking my family around in 115 degree weather in July and accidentally finding the entrance, Robyn, the AMC employee in charge of opening the door, would not let us in when we showed up 15 minutes before opening. The bench just inside the door would have been a great place to escape the heat and wait until they opened. Instead, Robyn cut me off mid sentence and shut the door in my face. I then spent another 15 minutes in 115 degree weather luckily finding the AC'd lobby of a more accommodating business. When I returned after their opening time, Robyn then told me they needed more time to open their doors and then shut the door in my face again. I had no choice but to return my family to the AC'd hotel not knowing how much longer we could tolerate or survive the heat waiting outside. Never will I visit an AMC theatre again. The bench just inside where I could have sat in AC for 15 or 20 minutes pictured here.

I would give this a zero star if I could!!! Well my husband and I, some family members and a couple of their friends went to watch the movie Lion King and let me tell you this place is a freaking joke. First we couldn't find any FREE parking another inconvenience, for people that can't walk far and have to park a couple of blocks away from the place very inconvenient for those who don't know the area. Your parking lot and main entrance needs to be easy to find. Then when we finally got to the main building we couldn't find our way in to the theater and we where not the only ones, piss poor design of this whole complex. We finally find the main entrance and walk in and what do we see through out the place it was trashed filthy dirty floors and fountain drink, popcorn topping areas, along with the bathrooms. Their soda machines where out of more than half the drinks. My sister put in a complaint at their so called Quest service desk about how she had to go to 4 different bathroom stalls to get toilet paper that is bs. For the prices you guys charge that place should be spit shinning and the second concession stand in the back should be open and running for those who watch movies in the back. It is such an inconvenience to walk all the way to the front just to get an outrageously priced drinks. I mean come on $7.05 including tax for a large soda is stupid ridiculous, $15 for a large soda and nachos. Get real those prices are stupid greedy this is why we never go to the movies because they have gotten so stupid greedy with their prices it's cheaper, cleaner to stay home and watch movies. We will never go here again and will not recommend it to anyone!! For the location it is at you would think that the owner of this movie theater would give a hoot that his place is not being kept cleaned. The theater that was showing our movie was very dirty, I had to sweep off my seat before I could sit down as did my husband. I saw 3 young people carrying dust pans and brooms but I never saw them use them they just walked around talking to each other. We even had to help a group of people that couldn't find the main entrance to the theater. The owner needs to fix this problem and put signs out so customers can find it a lot easier instead of wasting their time walking around the stupid complex of miss placed businesses just to get the movie theater. Whoever designed this place was not thinking of their customers the people that are the reason they get a...

I went here to see Companion at 5:30, since I've seen this theater while driving downtown, expecting a good downtown theater

The theater is barely updated since the 2010's. They have the new AMC Coca Cola Machines, and concession, but nothing else a new AMC gives

No bar, old wallpaper and carpet. The wallpaper was literally peeling from the walls, and looked like they had water damage in Theater 1.

Ever played a zombie game when you went into an old business? It's like that. But someone swept it and kept the lights on, and tried to scavenge whatever newer tech they could find for the theater.

Remember the non reclining seats they started to get rid of in the 2010's? They still have those. I worked at AMC in 2006 and I instantly recognized the seat type they had. Fabric blue, we used to have to scrape them down with gum remover.

The theater seats aren't the only outdated thing, they showed a preview for the Harry Potter movies returning to theaters, it was pixilated as hell. Think 480p on YouTube. All the previews were like that.

It doesn't help that the trailers for the movie are not only low picture quality, but the movies being previewed sucked. Which isn't the theaters fault, but just added to the bad experience.

I stick to Harkins for a reason. The hilarious thing is in this dilapitaed theater they played a pre show reel that thanked their Shareholders hahaha

I walked out before the show started. The seats being uncomfortable, knowing how old they are, the poor picture quality, the state of the building, and the parking garage you have to walk back to all made this experience garbage.

I'm an AMC employee from almost 20 years ago, I shouldn't recognize the seats. I went to see Nosferatu at the Mesa Grand 14, and it was a much better experience. If they can afford to renovate, I assume you guys can too. Both are primary marquees for theaters in the area

Don't go here if you still like going to the theaters. It was close to work and that's the only reason I went,...
