I had the pleasure of being in town during the September 2015 Pigeon Forge Rod Run. The scenery, Rods and beautiful weather made for an amazing experience. The Le Conte Center was the perfect venue. A fantastic facility, perfectly laid out with wide aisles and excellent lighting. The building layout even allowed easy pick up of purchases via a large loading dock. Christy Lee and Butch Patrick should also be commended for making people feel welcome.

The downside was Cruisin the Strip!!! I can't believe a six lane corridor through town has to come to a complete STOP. Somebody really needs to re-think traffic flow. Perhaps a circuitus route for a 90 minute time period moving both directions along the strip. I certainly saw a strong Police presence that could have been more involved with traffic flow. Teaster Lane, Veterans Boulevard and The Parkway would also provide a wonderful clockwise flow. I have attended numerous large automotive events in my life, The Chicago Auto Show, Iola Car Show, Milwaukee Auto Show, Car Craft etc. and never witnessed such horrid traffic. Please make this fantastic...

Beautiful facility. Huge rooms, smaller spaces for lectures, sitting areas to rest, nice "food court" area with several tables and varying vendors. We were there for Corvette Expo and had a space outside in their huge parking lot. They had plenty of space outside for vendors, and Corvettes and still had plenty of parking for everyone else. The only thing we had a concern about was the mobility. My Dad has been a vendor at Corvette Expo for over 30 years. He is in his 70's, has had two strokes and a partial foot amputation. He gets around pretty well, but he didn't even go inside this year because it was just too far for him to try to walk. He refuses to use a scooter. If you are going to an event that is both inside and outside, and mobility is an issue, I highly recommend taking a scooter. At the very least, take light weight chairs that you can easily carry. Outside, where the vendors were, there is no seating or areas to rest. There are no food vendors...

What a great conference center. The layout was good, plenty of restrooms too. Beautiful building, plenty of parking. A/V staff excellent. They were right on if any problems came up with audio visual/sound problems. Difficult job as there were so many seminars & other events going on. I have to say the food was absolutely terrible. Hardly any choices. Food seemed to be just heated up frozen items. Hot dogs not bad but have to say how many people are in to hot dogs & this event was 5 days long. I had a pastry that was stale & tasteless and chicken tenders that were the worst. They would have had more business at these concessions if the food better. Everyone knew after the first day. The center itself is great though & a very easy location to find. What an asset to...

Great venue. It was very clean and had an abundance of seating, which is rare for a con. We were there for Yamacon and have attended previous years as well. Facility offers snacks and drinks which were reasonably priced for this type of venue. I prefer paper towels in restrooms instead of dryers. I understand that dryers are better for sustainability, but they are actually not great for cleanliness. Staff was all very helpful and friendly as well. Parking can be tight and if you're not early, you will definitely have a walk. There is a shuttle that goes back and forth from the Island which is nice.

A nice venue, Winterfest was awesome. The only knock for Winterfest was all the vendors right at the entrance xausing a gigantic traffic jam of people. Would have been nice to have lined them along a wall going away from the entrance. The LeConte Center is big inside and has room to have a lot of food vendors. However, the biggest knock would be not enough booths, vendors to purchase something to drink. The one picture of a long line was for something to drink, a pretzel, hotdog or candy. The prices for food were CRAZY and you are not allowed to bring anything in.

Nice convention center on beautiful property. Several different room sizes to meet your needs. Restrooms are large but only have air dryers that are super loud but keeps the floor from being covered in paper towels so two edge sword there. Also found the water in the restroom sinks to be cold. The grounds around the center are very nicely kept and a wonderful place to step outside and take a break. Halls can get crowded during large events so the outdoor path is a big plus. Also conveniently located to Maples Motor Inn right across the river.
