Our family of five had such a great experience today at Old Time Photo #5 with our photographer, Zack. He made us all feel comfortable and relaxed. Our youngest is autistic and non-verbal, so that definitely creates an extra obstacle when we do things like this. Zack did great with him and put in a lot of effort to get some great shots with our little guy looking and smiling at the camera. Even though I could hear from the other room that they had lots of walk-ins coming in, we never felt rushed.
We're so pleased with our pictures! I compared tons of similar shops in both PF and Gatlinburg via their online galleries and Google reviews before making a choice. Old Time #5, in my opinion, appeared to be the best. They certainly lived up to what we were hoping for! I highly recommend investing into your memories with Old Time #5.
The pricing was surprisingly reasonable. I honestly couldn't believe how much was included in our package. I've seen a couple negative reviews regarding pricing, but never in my life have I had the amount of pictures and poses that we had taken and walked away with 3 large FRAMED prints and all the edited digital copies for $250! As with any other studio for pictures, there is a separate sitting fee. Ours was $55 when I booked ahead online a few weeks ago- $11/person.
I think some folks don't understand how much professional pictures actually cost. I've paid as much or more for just digital copies with other photographers. It's your responsibility as a customer to do your due diligence and ask for pricing before deciding if something is within your personal budget. I know for a fact places in Brandon charge $500 for JUST the...
Read morePlease don’t go! If you want to spend $400 for photos that are drowned in darkness and a photographer that is mad at the world this is where you should go. We wasted 2 hours of our vacation here. Out of all of the places we visited in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge this was the biggest waste of our time and money. The photographer seemed to be unhappy that we were there. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or if he was sheerly just stressed out. Either way, we felt very rushed and he made multiple rude remarks to my family. I felt uncomfortable changing because I had to ask my husband to come help me tie my dress. There was no female staff to assist. I was given no choice in my attire. The man taking the photos said my initial dress he gave me was too small and handed me a new dress. I am an average sized person and I don’t feel it should be hard to figure it out. I’m 5’6” and weigh 150lbs. He gave me an x-small pair of men’s boxer shorts to wear and I told him they were too tight and kindly asked if there was a larger size of boxer shorts available. He acted exasperated and unkindly gave me a larger size. When he was taking photos he couldn’t speak to my children in any kind of friendly tone. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. To boot, you will need to spend a minimum of $320 if you want the minimal digital photos with no prints. This place is a tourist trap and any other old time photo place would be a better choice....
Read moreOn the last day of our trip we went to this Old Time Photo shop with the kids. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They gave us a tour of the facility and the scenes available and asked us to pick one. After a very short wait, though there were a couple of groups, including an appointment ahead of us, they took us back and got us dressed up for the photo shoot. Our photographer was AMAZING! Our 4 year old was getting restless and not "really" smiling so the photographer made her laugh and snapped a photo so quick that it surprised us all - turned out to be our favorite picture of our youngest that day. The photographer not only took photos in the scene we chose, but had us take photos in 3 other scenes as well. She was very accommodating, very professional, and the pictures turned out AMAZING!!! If you are in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, this is a great place to stop in. It is a little pricey, but the professionalism and prints are top notch. We bought the digital copies and several framed...
