Great Smoky Mountains Pigeon Forge: Riding Roller Coasters Under Dazzling Night Lights

This course is about $15 per adult for the first game, and just 7.75 each for a second round. We did the Diamond course first. It's a fun and challenging 18 holes. There are signs along the way that tell a story. The course is impeccably maintained! We were really impressed. For the Gold course, we rode the train to the top. Don't miss this! It's a chance to rest your feet and you get some great views of the courses. And a surprise in the tunnel up top. The Gold course is also well maintained, lots of cool and well ventilated caverns for shade. Be sure to check out the hidden spots for little details! There are drink machines along the course if you get thirsty. Be sure to wear sunscreen and your comfy walking shoes. This is a can't miss Mini-Golf!!

We decided on mini-golf for a family activity on vacation, and this place sounded fun. They gave a military discount to our whole family (14 members). I really liked that the Diamond course was stroller accessible, my youngest child is disabled and needs a chair sometimes. The only downside is to reach the bathrooms, you've got to walk through all the courses from the top of the hill, and a few times straight across the green, which is frustrating when you don't want to disturb others. Fortunately, everyone is there for a good time, and no-one seemed bothered by our trespass. The little mining car ride to the first hole was fun, it felt a lot like the mini-golf in Gatlinburg that I remembered as a child.

I should have thoroughly read the reviews posted here. The holes are NOT CHALLENGING AT ALL. Some of them were literally like a practice putt course. This wasn't my first pick to play mini golf. I wanted to go to a place in gatlinburg, but they were closed for up to 3 weeks for maintenance, so I saw that this place had good reviews and we passed it a couple of times and it looked enjoyable and fun. When we got there, we were told to play on the diamond side, but the look of it the gold side looked more fun. Even the last hole on the diamond side was just a little bank curve to get it in and if you looked behind the gold side you had to hit it down a hill and there were obstacles on that course... just weird. I could be completely wrong and the gold course could be just straightforward and easy as the diamond course one. Back where I live, if there's 2 different courses at the place you can choose which one you want to play, not this one. The guy just circled the diamond course and said how we're playing that one. (Which was fine since a family of 6 entered in before us and he assigned them to the gold course). We all took the little train up to the top which was the best part of the mini golf. I get that it's summer vacation and mini golf is popular but holy heck was the place packed! It was just me and my husband and each course took us like a minute max to complete since they werent hard or challenging at all and then we had to wait like 10-15 minutes after for families to complete their turn. (Which I get that's how all mini golf's are) but I feel like like if they were more challenging we would've had more fun playing them and obviously not had a problem with waiting. We were debating on leaving in the middle of our game but for $19 a person we were not losing out on that money. (Definitely expensive for mini golf). All I have to say is really read the reviews before going somewhere, or you'll...

Supposed to get a ride on the "gem mining cart" and didn't tell us anything about. At the end of our game we inquired about it (in case it was an ending type ride THEN found out it was broke - would have been nice to know beforehand). So that was a bad start. (EDITED TO ADD: we passed later on and saw it being used so it appears whoever was working simply didn't want to do their job)

That course itself, while looking interesting from the road, is actually pretty bland compared toother courses. They have courses in the "cave" but it is not painted or decorated in the least bit. Many of the courses also had debris on the course appearing like it's not being kept up. That could just be the day we went on to be fair.

At the very beginning of the game there is a sign about a chance to win a free game by playing a "mystery hole" at the end. There was no mystery hole as advertised. (This was also listed on their brochure as well, not just a sign at the course).

We also realized the coupon offer we had for $1 off each player, only $1 total was taken off when there were 4 people.

Overall this was just a bad experience and nothing was as it was advertised....

Oh my,I was there on Black Friday My words cannot describe. The crowds were unbelievable I mean UNBELIEVABLE 😳😳😳It took us 45minutes to get to the park entrance from the main road. My son-in-law and daughter dropped us off. It took 45 minutes to find a parking place. They did complain to staff and they gave them the $25.00 paid for parking. They finally found a place to park in c section. No numbers or letters for parking rows. We had to guess where we were parked. The lots are dimly lit. It was just terrible. The crowds were really rude. I am handicapped and was in a scooter. The Xmas lights were absolutely beautiful and the 2 shows we saw were fantastic!! We even left before the drone show which we wanted to see ( due to the crowds). They kept the park open an extra hour What does that tell you. I heard a employee telling another couple that the count was over 22,ooo. Prices were outrageous to say the least- turkey leg $16, small small coke was $3.29 (about 6 ounces & no refills). Can say I had a better time at Buc-ees. All the people there were really kind and friendly from the customers to the employees. They...
