Ok, you're probably asking yourself. Why did I give a 1 star ?? the food and are waitress Tabitha was awesome. The food arrived at the perfect temperature. The food was good. Can't complain about the food .our waitress was very good. She never let our drinks go without now. Here's the bad news. Sorry, it might be long. When ,we arrive at 7 o'clock? We were told that there was an hour and 45 minute wait. We gave them our name and our phone number. They said they would text us when our table was ready. We decided to go back to our hotel, which was a 3 minute drive. You could actually see our hotel from the restaurant from the Hill. At 8:13 (from call log), I called the restaurant to see if the wait was still about the same and to see how close our name was. The gentleman was very rude. He told me that he had taken my name off the list. Because we left the property. He scolded me like I was a child told me. I should have sat in my car and waited. We were actually sitting at our bar pool. We'd already paid for our drink that we had already drank. We rushed to our car and by the time we got to the restaurant. It was 8:25. My husband dropped me off at the door when he went in parked. I rushed in. I met with a woman who was very nice. Who said no,We still had 8 people ahead of us. I said, "Oh, thank goodness." The gentleman on the phone told me he was taken. Our name off the list because we left the property, she apologized. My husband arrived at the door she apologized to him and we went to take our seat. Right in front of the hostess stand. As we sat there, we heard different people's names being called. After a possibly 12 minutes. Unfortunately, I was looking at my clock. Our name was called the gentleman, and we got very upset when she yelled for Jennifer party of 2. When we walked up, he was very upset, he said. Are you the ones that left? I said to him in a tone. Yes, we are, but we arrive back here in time. Before our names were called, he said. No, that our names were called beforehand, and we shouldn't have been put back on the list again. She butted in which I do apologize,I do not have her name and said no, our names were not called before and to follow her. When we got to our booth ,honestly, I was ready to leave. He had me so upset. But my husband has been wanting to come to this restaurant for some time now and says we were on an anniversary trip. I stayed now. This is what really upset me. After our waitress came and got us our drinks and brought us our salads. another couple was sat near us. As he walked past us, he bluntly made it very loud that the restaurant closed at 9 o'clock. And that he wasn't waiting for us. That right there is a reason why I will never step foot in this restaurant again. Because I found out that he is the general manager!!!!! We spent $150 in this restaurant for 2 dinners. It wasn't the food's fault, it wasn't. The waitress fault. It was actually the general manager that made us feel unwanted. The worst part is. There is a sign hanging up. You can see when you walk in the door, which I've added a picture to it. I feel like this man needs a sit down and look at this sign because now. No matter how much we enjoyed our foid ,how much we enjoyed our waitress. He is the reason why we will never step foot in the...
Read moreHow can I even start... This place has soared vast, vast, VAST beyond by expectations of what a steakhouse should be. First off, we got in easily with the large amount of parking, yet had to wait an hour and a half to be seated. Understandably so, because the place was packed to the brim, and we were a party of 11. In my opinion, the wait was well worth it and so was the pricing of the food. When we were seated, the area was great for both the babies and adults, with a booth, chairs, and 2 high-chairs. The bathroom was also very nice, and included a pull-out step for toddlers to use. We had 2 baskets full of delicious rolls at our table along with amazing honey butter. I ordered the Steakburger at only $18 it came with 1lb of beef, and a load of fries on the side. It was probably the best burger I've ever eaten, the meat near-dissolved in my mouth and tasting fantastic. I chose american cheese on the burger and it complemented everything extremely well, the fries were also well above expectations.I must say, I'm somewhat of a picky eater and when I asked for no lettuce, onions, or tomatoes on my burger. I completely forgot about pickles, however, our waitress, Justinya, asked about pickles without me mentioning it, and that saved my burger. Let's talk more about Justinya, (who should get a raise), she constantly came by and asked if everything was alright and refilled our drinks without us needing to ask. She also gave all 3 of the little ones free desserts to eat after they finished their food. Not only all of that, there were mint-chocolates and toothpicks with our checks. One of the people in our party asked if they could take one of the little plastic cups of honey butter with us, and Justinya went out of her way to go and give them extra honey butter to take out, free of charge. So far, I've covered the amazing waitress, food, parking, food, and kid-friendliness, however, there is more. The place had a great interior with very nice mounts and decor, the babies were mesmerized by the long-horn cow mount. The kids were given these wax type sticks to play around with while waiting for food, the adults even had some fun with them. Sweet tea was top notch, and overall, everyone had a great time. If you ever stop by Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, or Gatlinburg this place is my top recommendation, definitely a top restaurant.
TLDR; Legendary food, Amazing service, Great atmosphere, Kid-friendly, Many parking spots, Waitress made every last detail perfect, Top pick in...

Inaccurate Wait Time Information
We called at 4:00 PM and spoke with Eva, inquiring about reservations and anticipated wait times. She informed us that while reservations weren’t accepted, waits exceeding an hour typically began around 6:00 PM. However, upon our arrival at 4:45 PM, we were told to expect a 90-minute wait. This discrepancy between the provided information and reality was frustrating.
Unaccommodating Response to Special Needs
Given that we have a special needs child who cannot wait in the parking lot for extended periods, we asked the host about the timeframe to return once notified. His response was curt, stating we had only a couple of minutes to arrive after being texted, or the table would be given away. He added that upon arrival, we’d be placed at the top of the list but would still have to wait. His demeanor was unhelpful and dismissive, lacking understanding of our situation.
Communication Failures
After leaving our number and returning within an hour, we checked in and were told there were about 30 minutes remaining. Forty minutes later, having received no text, we inquired again and were told a message had been sent, though we hadn’t received it. Verification showed our number was correct, indicating a system error.
Seating and Service Challenges
Once seated, our party was placed at a booth that couldn’t accommodate us all, forcing one member to sit on a hard chair. Upon request, our server, Rebekah, moved us to a suitable booth. She appeared overworked, managing multiple complaints, including issues with steak quality that required managerial attention. While our food arrived promptly, drink refills were lacking, though we don’t fault Rebekah, given her workload.
Overall Experience
This was our third consecutive Thanksgiving at Alamo Steakhouse, but had it been our first, we wouldn’t consider returning. What should have been a seating time of no later than 6:15 PM, due to the establishment’s errors, resulted in us not being seated and ordering until 7:15 PM.
In summary, the combination of inaccurate information, unaccommodating staff, communication failures, and service challenges made this visit notably subpar compared to our previous...
