Edited: changed from a 2 star review to a 1 star review following employer response. It wasn’t just that the elevator was down, it’s the fact that we were treated terribly by employees with no attempt to make it right. These types of situations generally reflect poor management and leadership, which is the case here.
We had some time before the Pirates show and bought some tickets on Groupon. It’s was my son’s birthday and we were with his extended family. Unfortunately, my disabled husband was unable to access as the elevator was down and he wasn’t able to climb that many stairs. We got to the top and was told there was no accommodations for disabled people to access their establishment, that the elevator had been down a “few weeks”. I was firm, but I didn’t raise my voice or use inappropriate language in speaking with Winston, the staff member addressing me. But I was basically told that there was nothing that could be done. Ryan (another staff member at the register) decided to interject that “things happen” and when I said that wasn’t okay (again firmly but calmly), he raised his voice and threw up his hands and started saying “I’m just trying to be nice, I’m going to just walk away!!” In a raised aggressive voice. I agreed that he should. My son couldn’t do an activity with his dad on his birthday because they were not accommodating of people with disabilities. It was dismissive and rude to say “things happen” to a 12 year old boy who couldn’t do an activity with his dad on his birthday because his dad was being denied access due to his disability. Winston then did nothing to de-escalate the situation, and did not apologize for the disrespectful way we were treated. There was absolutely nothing done to make the situation right. I have never been spoken to so aggressively when trying to bring resolution to a complaint. I was made to feel like I had acted hysterical or in unacceptable way, yet Ryan was the one who forcefully escalated the situation. We went ahead and did the putt putt course and the laser tag, while his dad waited in the car. I gave it two stars because it’s pretty ok, standard putt putt & laser tag fare-but the experience was shockingly disrespectful and discriminatory against...
Read moreThis is a new place here in Pigeon Forge and it is so COOL!! The mini golf has an Avatar feel to it. There is a really cool motion ride and Lazer tag as well. There's snacks and a few arcade games. This place is BRAND NEW. It just opened this week so come check it out. Be sure to get your pictures taken by Hollywood pictures while you're here. The photos are amazing!!!
EDIT So to further explain this new adventure, all of the attractions are tied to the same theme. The mini golf, the motion ride, and Lazer tag all play in to a fantasy/futuristic theme that may seem a bit familiar. The golf course obstacles and decoration are nothing like what you have seen in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, or Gatlinburg. This is a nice challenge for an avid mini golfer as the sides are somewhat low so you hard hitters will gain an extra stroke. A nice touch is the small bits of "rough." Not very often do you see this in mini golf. Right now, since the greens are new, they are slow. Keep that in mind when judging your putt. As the years pass, they will probably get faster with traffic. The motion ride and Lazer tag, again, is the same theme. I would recommend purchasing the package to get the whole experience. Golf not your thing? Then try the go carts at ground level. We didn't ride today, but we plan to. The track looks great and the carts do, too
The golf, Lazer tag, and motion ride is on the second level. Don't worry. There is an elevator for your convenience.
Me and my family love finding these gems as we come to the area every year. It's great to see new things to do, even if it's just a different twist on something classic.
The picture of the pricing is from the first week open. I would imagine these are subject to change. Be sure and stop in on your spring break and ask about the packages. You can play unlimited with one of them....
Read moreWhat a fun place to stop. Space themed fun that our family loved. It was a hot one the day we went so we welcomed the inside fun this place had to offer. The indoor mini golf was an alien land full of fun challenges that we all put our skills to the test and had great laughs along the way. Then we tried a room out they call Mega verse where your whole family walk around this room immersed in whatever world you pick. Kids loved this room. Then it was Laser Tag time in a fun room with walls and places to sneak around and score points on each other… I didn’t win but had an awesome time. Then we went down to where the go carts are located and man do these things fly around the curves and make you think you have hope to beating the next person. Dads and Moms if you like to go fast they even have the side by sides with your kids set to just burn up the track… Impress the kids you will. So to say we left with lots of great memories at this place is an understatement! Look for a purplish building that is two stories is the best way I can explain it. In...
