I make it up to Prescott from Phoenix maybe once a year with Spice Traveler only my list of places to visit. So it's unfortunate that I need to give this place a 1 star and write this review.
My friend and I had the intention to buy a specific spice from the store, but wanted to smell it and regardless... would of liked it in a bulk size (assuming that was an option) from one of the large containers from behind the counter. My friend approached the counter to ask to smell the spice before purchasing it. The associate behind the counter made eye contact with her, then turned her head to start a conversation with another associate without saying a word to my friend. Spices, herbs, pastas, salsas, jams, unique decor, nothing is run-of-the-mill here. Good prices. And a whole wall of tea! I bought the "Evening on Whiskey Row" blend that smelled like sarsaparilla. Super tasty. Love it. I also bought "Winter in Preskit", a black tea with the perfect amount of spice and fruit. If you're like me, and you like really good tea, their's is the best. Super fresh, and a variety of unique blends. They also have Firehouse Coffee Shop located in the same area, and Olive U Naturally, an Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar store everyone raves about.
