Beautiful venue! Saw Ashley McBryde on 3 October 2024. Acoustics in the hall were amazing. Seats were a little close, but comfy.
The main level bathrooms are single person (marked with plenty of signs), but there's a multi-stall bathroom downstairs.
They do have food available for purchase, typical event food (nachos, hot dogs, pretzels). Beer and liquor is also available.
While the theater itself is beautiful, it's not the best place for bands where people tend to stand. We were in Orchestra Row K, pretty much center. When Ashley went on, all rows in front of us stood up, and stayed standing most of the show. Be prepared for that. If you're seeing an act that gets people on their feet, try to get a seat along the balcony railing upstairs. Probably the best view in the house.
One more thing, the opening act was one person on an acoustic guitar. She was so quiet in between songs that you could hear the house music playing through the massive hanging speaker stacks. Faint, but wasn't definitely there.
Parking was free, right across the street from the venue. Get...
Read moreSo coming out (hopefully) of COVID 2020 where albums were scarce and concerts even more scarce, imagine my delight when my favorite entertainer of all time was coming to Pueblo Memorial Hall on Oct 22, 2021!! Sweet relief! It’s John Hiatt and the Jerry Douglas band!! Hallelujah!! This would be JHs FIRST EVER Pueblo show and I was like a kid in Christmas morning when it came time to purchase the tickets. I contacted the box office GM, Mr Kevin Ortiz for guidance on best way to purchase tickets. He was so wonderful to work with, answering my questions and putting up with a very enthusiastic old man! He also introduced me to Carl Moore, Box Office Manager. He was also wonderful to work with and just really kind in answering my questions and helping get some great tickets purchased. Now I just have to wait 6 months 😱and I can live the dream! Inviting some close friends to enjoy the show. Thanks Kevin and Carl- your kindness and professionalism made this a...
Read moreWe will never return to Memorial Hall. We were there for Tech N9ne, 10/08/16. Paid $40 for tickets only to find out that you cannot video record, not even Snapchat! Not only that but they enforce it HEAVILY. If your're on the balcony the ushers will pace behind you frequently, and they will creep over your shoulder and watch you and the people in front of you take pictures to ensure you're not recording. They will interrupt your experience to escort those around you out, or take their phones. When they're not too busy being creeps they will be posted up behind you like chaperones. Honestly, I felt like a 25 year old man on a field trip, I will not return ever. What kind of artist doesn't want everyone in the show snapchatting to all their friends??? I will also email the people down at strange music and strawberry fields, maybe they'll choose a better...
