Fisher's Popcorn — Attraction in Rehoboth Beach

We thought we knew what caramel corn to buy, but once we tasted Fisher's Popcorn, we got an education. We've had popcorn from Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and local homemade caramel corn at our country fairs and local markets, but not one, not one, measures up to the full flavor of Fisher's. We recently stopped at Peddler's Village, in Lahaska Pa., where we thought we experienced the best. Wow, were we shocked. Our former favorite was bland after experiencing Fisher's. We couldn't believe we were once fans of Lahaska caramel corn. No longer. Fisher's is what we buy now for ourselves, family and friends. I'm even wondering if we can work it into a corporate gift package. It's over-the-top the best.

I recently ordered again - a super large tin of popcorn to send to my grandchildren. I screwed up the address. I hit, "Reply" to my confirming email over the Thanksgiving holiday never expecting either a reply or the ability to correct the shipping address before the popcorn was shipped.

Not only did I get a reply over the holiday weekend, but they made the address correction and my package was on the doorstep by the time my grandchildren returned from their holiday. It was effortless. I didn't phone; I didn't search for an email; I didn't receive a confirmation from a "no reply" email bot. I did nothing more than hit, "Reply," and send a one-line note asking Fisher's to change the outgoing shipping address. Presto, it was done in a wink. This deserves a special note. Popcorn is tasty. But I got there 15 minutes before closing and the only option was caramel popcorn and everybody else in the back was cleaning and sweeping the floor and it felt guilty and putting the employees out.. And I think their popcorn is way too expensive. So if I was the owner I'd be saying:look like you're open for business and not make people (patrons) feel like they're putting you out.
