TheRexTech — Attraction in Rexburg

I have visited this business three times in the past two days, and I am very pleased by and grateful for their service! Everyone I interacted with was very polite and helpful, and I highly recommend coming here for any computer or monitor issues.

My daily-use laptop suddenly died shortly after one of my classes yesterday, and I could not figure out what happened. I saw the good reviews for this business, so I dropped the laptop off for a free diagnostic. They called me less than 30 minutes later with an update and gave me a quote for the repair. They gave me time to think about it, and I called back a short time later to decline the repair. I have a small gaming laptop, so I instead opted to purchase an inexpensive monitor. I picked up the monitor and my dead laptop, but the monitor and my gaming laptop were unable to communicate with each other.

Today I brought the monitor and my gaming laptop in for troubleshooting, and when Renaldo was unable to get them to communicate, he gave me a small discount (on top of the refund for the inexpensive monitor) on a nicer monitor. He also gave me some advice about my gaming laptop due to its noticeably slow boot-up time, which I greatly appreciated! He then carried the new monitor out to my vehicle for me.

Renaldo is the only person who's name I got, but everyone at this business was very professional and helpful, and they were all excellent about greeting customers and regularly checking-in with the customers who were waiting to be assisted. Thank you for being such an...

I called TheRex Tech this morning about an issue I was having with my computer. It wouldn’t boot up, and after trying to fix it myself without success, I knew I needed professional help. Right from the first conversation, it was clear the technician really knows his stuff. If you have any background in computers, you’ll immediately recognize you’re dealing with someone knowledgeable and skilled.

For comparison, I also called a repair shop across the street, but the experience just on the phone was beyond disappointing, they couldn’t even clearly communicate with me about the problem. In contrast, TheRex Tech was already thinking of solutions on the phone and when i brought my desktop in he had my PC on the bench right away and began diagnosing it immediately.

Within just a couple of hours the issue was resolved and all for just $45. Compare that to $100 across the street. On top of that, the tech even took the time to deep clean the inside of my PC, which he didn’t have to do. It was truly a kind gesture and i appreciate it. That kind of care and attention really sets this place apart.

I can’t recommend TheRex Tech highly enough—skilled, kind, affordable, and truly great service all around. Thank you again, and if I ever need help in the future, this is where I’ll go...

I don't write reviews to often, but I will say this.

This small tech company is a good honest business to work with:

they are honest: they didn't lie to me on price (I checked the price myself and it is accurate), and they responded to back to me for any issues (which they did)

budget friendly: as a college student you are pretty much poor and living on a budget. And unfortunately when you have a newish touch screen laptop (it is expensive), but they tried their very best to be budget friendly efficient and used what service fee to help support themselves financially and just charged me free on that part.

they are responsive: to be fair, finding a tech service repair shop in Rexburg is limited after calling two other businesses to respond to my phone call, both went through voicemail. This third business (The RexTech), were not only able to answer my phone call in the first try, but they responded in less than two minutes and they responded to my phone call before the doors are even open.

So if you are looking for a good honest business to go to, then this is the place. They will tell you straight forward whether they can fix the repairs or not and keep you updated...
