True to its name, the Enchanted Rock Garden is the largest rock shop where one can find minerals from polished, to rough form to museum style pieces. The wide variety of products are limitless. I was able to collect healing stones for my puppy as well as clear quartz and black tourmaline bracelets for myself. Tables and cabinets of crystal clusters in various sizes and weights, hard to find metaphysical finds, geodes big and small and even a great array of fossils and ammonite nautilus can be found. This definitely is a place to come back time and again to enjoy the amazement of earth’s natural creations, grow one’s collection, believe in its healing powers and most of, feel the energy of these natural wonders.

I have been collecting my entire life- this store truly blew me away. The best collection I have ever seen. I went for my first time recently and sent my best friend a text saying “omg I found my version of heaven” I was planning on just popping in but ended up staying for hours. The owner and staff are so knowledgeable and kind. These people truly love what they do, and know how to do it. Can’t wait to buy my first big piece- and it will be from Enchanted Rock Garden, no doubt. 11/10

I’m a bit of a rock hound, and I was very impressed with the selection at Enchanted Rock Garden. The staff know their stuff, the prices are fair (they don’t have the crazy markup those proponents of crystal healing try to hit you with), and they have some pretty awesome accent pieces! There was a sale going on when we went (20-50% off), which made for a pretty sweet haul (pictured) at very reasonable prices. 10/10 would come here again (once my wallet has had some time to recover).

This review is written by a mineral dealer since age 16 and Collector since 12, I have been an educator and advocate for the hobby my entire career.

This is one of the best mineral shops I have ever seen in my so far 20 years of collecting. Specimens from beginner to fine at extremely fair price points. I commonly am able to spend quite a bit for both my collection and inventory, and reselling has been consistently easy.

The fine specimens particularly stand out in the cases, which are astonishingly diverse and consistently aesthetic. Although, the cases are a little overpacked so you do need to spend a fair amount of time looking them over to really see everything. Admittedly though, it is quite fun.

The lower priced items are still consistently nice specimens which are great for casual collectors and beginners, ranging from the obscure to the staples of anyones first collection.

There is also a broad range of metaphysical items for those seeking alternative spiritual enrichment, also varying from simple staple to the extraordinary, which also function as exceptional decor for virtually any household (because every household should have minerals in them.)

There are few mineral shops among the more than 100 I have visited that I would recommend with the same passion and assured confidence that anything you fall in love with here is at a good value for your stage of collecting. I truly appreciate someone who puts this amount of time and love into a hobby that has so little public appreciation, and worse so in the time he started it.

Seriously, if you even just have some free time and you’re in the area, this is worth seeing. Like...

I am looking for a particular size/shape amethyst geode as a gift. Traditionally we purchase fist size or smaller stones and just peruse. This round, because i'm looking for something 8" or larger, I called Enchanted Gardens (it has historically been my go-to); I wanted to scope out viability of options before driving the distance. The male who answered (one of the buyers) however was curt, impatient and frankly unhelpful. He told me he sold rocks and when i asked for more specifics on the type of larger amethyst geodes available he told me he is the largest store of rocks. That he has the most inventory, then get this - he hung up on me! I've spent hundreds of dollars over the past decade supporting my children's fascination with rocks at this store, I can't tell you how many trips we have made over the years. Additionally, we always purchase a crystal or stone for each child's special occasion, etc. I was shocked my his lack of common phone manners. As a result, I called around to two other shops. Both of which were quite friendly and took a peek for me describing their options. For this purchase i will be going to ZRS Fossils in Uptown. The owner was congenial and accommodating to my questions. His phone vibe made me want to drop the phone and not walk but RUN to his store. Also ZRS Fossils is such a well presented space and just feels good. Enchanted Rock, i've really enjoyed the hunting and pecking in the past but with your long lines and poor customer service, well, it just feels like it's time to part ways. Plus overall, ZRS Fossils has much better...

don’t go to this store unless you want to be racially profiled! i would rate it at 0 stars if i could. we walked in, owner lady immediately said “were closing soon”, i apologized as i thought they closed at 6, not 5 and then we quickly got our stuff together ( we were in and out before close, we were in there for maybe 10 mins MAX). the entire time we’re walking around, all we here is “we’re closing soon” / “if u have ur stuff ready u can bring it up the front u know” / “we close in 15” / “i can ring you up now.” the man at the store at the counter was eyeing me the entire time as if i was going to be stealing things. and then another girl walked in who was BIPOC and she got rushed as well. but during this WHOLE TIME there was a white lady in the back taking her sweet time and she didn’t get talked to once, in fact the owner lady actually helped her around and answered her questions very nicely. only until after paid is when we got a “warm welcome” smh. oh! and to top it off, when we got in the car, a white man went up to the door as the owner lady was shutting the blinds and closing the store and she LET HIM IN!!! then ANOTHER WHITE COUPLE WALKED UP AND THEY GOT LET IN TOO....
