This is by far the best launch in Sacramento. Lots of parking and the current does not interfere with launching of the boats. It is a wicked swimming area and life jackets are available for free. Any swimmer should use them because there is a huge rip current where American river and Sacramento rivers meet. People drown every year at this location. The beach is fabulous and usually not...

Nice and close for me . Nice launch but it tends to be very crowded. I always worry about leaving my truck to go out on the boat as their tends to be lots of shady people and homeless...
