EDIT: (I didn’t even realize this is a jewelry store, I am only seeing this now as I am posting this review. Again, putting stuffed animals at the entrance and then aggressively kicking a mom and baby out of the store for doing nothing is repulsive behavior.) My daughter and I were walking past this store and there was a display of stuffed animals at the entrance. There were little teddy bears in this wicker rectangle basket on the floor that was propped up on display facing outwards. We walked in, my daughter was out of her stroller and she went to grab a little stuffed animal which I was going to purchase for her. She being a toddler knocked the basket down so I just propped it back up. There was no mess made, propping it back up took 2 seconds. That was it , she didn’t break anything. She was not unattended. I was beside her the not even 60 seconds we were in the store and the woman behind the counter said “we do not allow strollers, I am going to have to ask you to leave”. I was honestly shocked in the way that she said this to me ,her tone and delivery was not just rude but nasty like she showed disdain for me when she said this to me. I don’t know if it was because of my appearance because I’m in the middle of medical treatment for my brain tumors and I have no hair ? the way that she addressed me was so offputting. I didn’t bother to purchase the stuffed animal. I put teddy bear back and we left immediately without saying anything. I don’t understand why you would not want to have children or a stroller inside of your store if you have a display gear towards children at the entrance. it makes no sense and I think that it’s very bizarre to also treat potential customers in such a way where you clearly exhibit strong, distain and disgust for new faces who come into your store.
I’m just at a loss because nothing concerning was being done to warrant being kicked out of the store. I think that she just didn’t want us there and so she use the stroller as an excuse. the stroller was not in a place where it was blocking any sort of walkway or the entrance so it did not make any sense . I felt compelled to write this this due to how I was spoken to and how I was treated . I feel like other people should be aware that they may be mistreated as well so please be mindful if you are looking to shop somewhere and enjoy your time shopping. This is not the place.
What was interesting was that we were just literally in another store where my daughter was still in her stroller and I just poked in like we did into the store, we didn’t walk through the store. We just were right at the entrance and I looked around and said “wow , this is such a beautiful store. I would love to check everything out, but I don’t want to bring her through the store “ ( she’s a toddler and she’ll likely grab items she shouldn’t be touching). The woman at the store approached me kindly with a smile and offered me her card and said that her website was on the card and I could check out the items there or I was more than welcome to return if I had some to just watch my daughter. I understand that there are spaces that are not suitable for children and kids can get into things, create a mess so I never leave her unattended and I am always mindful. to have a display for children at the immediate entrance of your store does not make any sense if you do not want children/strollers there. You’re literally marketing to parents /children having a basket or stuffed animals on the floor - on their level, so they can see it. We had such a lovely day up until that point , the woman really soured my experience and so I wanted to...
Read moreHere to continue to mirror the other reviews! Kathleen was AMAZING! My Fiancé, Grandmother, and I went in for an appointment after I had gone in the store one day myself on a whim. I loved all of the Jewlery they had on display. I have a simple taste when it comes to Jewlery and every piece was just that but with a little something to it that made it feel different and not just "basic".
I had been trying to figure out where to go for my wedding band and originally had wanted to have a custom band made with some Jewlery gifted to me from my grandmother. I made an appointment that first time walking in the store and came back to meet with Kathleen a week or so later.
Kathleen took the time to go over my vision for the repurpose of the jewelry I brought in and explained why it wouldn't work exactly as I had hoped. She really made sure I had thought it out, provided some alternative options to try and stick with a plan similar to what I had wanted originally, and made sure I understood to decide for myself what would be the best decision. She gave me all the information necessary to make an informed decision and I was no jewelry guru at all going into this.
Ultimately, since I couldn't use the stones I had brought in I decided to ditch my original idea and looked at what they had in store for options. I absolutely fell in LOVE with the piece I ended up choosing. It gave me the unique band I wanted in every way despite not being what I had in mind originally. There were honestly several I really liked but nailed it down to two and the decision was unanimous for the one I went with.
From there Kathleen helped me order mine specifically, again really going in depth to educate us all on the different diamond options and what the difference is between them all. She in no way pushed or made me feel pressured to select any particular option other than offering her advice and opinion on any specific questions. It really helped for me to be able to choose what was best for me in regard to the quality and price and was very much appreciated.
She was fair and generous with the pricing, and I felt helped us out wherever she could to help make it a win on both ends. A feeling I don't get often in these types of sales scenarios these days. She was genuine, so knowledgeable, and just truly great to work through all of our questions with.
I am dying to get it on full time finally on my Wedding Day this coming October 5th! Thank you, Kathleen, for an amazing experience! I will sing your praises to anyone that I catch the eye of with my perfectly unique and beautiful Wedding Band. I'll be coming back...
Read moreMy fiancée and I had the most incredible experience finding our wedding rings at Timeless Life Treasures, and I cannot express enough how grateful we are for Kathleen's exceptional assistance throughout the process. From the moment we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a boutique store in Salem, it became abundantly clear that fate had led us to the perfect place.
Despite being pressed for time before our flight, we were captivated by the boutique's stunning collection of engagement rings, particularly the exquisitely beautiful vintage-inspired designs. As a same-sex couple, we had encountered difficulties finding rings that not only complemented each other but also spoke to our individual styles. Other stores we had visited either lacked the selection we desired or were unresponsive when it came to customizations.
But lo and behold, in their glass case, was a beautiful, vintage-inspired, absolutely stunning ring my fiancée fell in LOVE with on the spot. It somehow magically was the one left there, already her size, and totally unlike what she had been looking for previously, but absolutely perfect for her. We had to leave the store to catch our flight, but I knew that was THE ONE.
The problem? We were going to Cuba in two weeks where I was supposed to propose! Thankfully, Kathleen came to our rescue and made the impossible happen. In a matter of two or three days, she assisted me in finalizing the ring's details, helping us choose the perfect stone, and ensuring discreet shipping, all without my fiancée suspecting a thing. The entire process was nothing short of a dream, and I was personally moved by Kathleen's dedication to helping make our ring dreams come true.
Furthermore, when it was time to customize my own ring based on my partner's selection, Kathleen made the process seamless, despite the fact that I couldn't be there in person. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have worked with someone as trustworthy and talented as Kathleen, as she effortlessly helped us finalize the intricate details that made our rings truly unique.
We are both so in love with our rings and love them more each day. They feel like the perfect representation of us, and we are so thankful that Timeless Life Treasures played such a special part in our engagement journey. We cannot thank them enough.
If you are searching for a truly special and personalized experience while finding your perfect rings, make sure you check them out. They are the epitome of excellence and dedication in creating...
