Really disappointed. I’m in Salem for my birthday with my mother; and she booked the Witch Walk last night for today, 11/18/2020 at 11am. Website took the $53.00 for our tickets, and sent confirmation email. We show up to Crow Havens Corner at 10:45am and stand around outside a closed business until 11:35am. Called 3 times- got no answer. Voicemail inbox full. Employee next door was very nice said they’re usually punctual and on time for daily tour. Well not today. No one even showed up. We got no courtesy call or email to say if someone was running late or if the tour was cancelled- NOTHING. We stood there in the cold for over 40 minutes. When we first got there, we saw a younger male who went inside to deliver items. When he came out we asked if this is where we meet for the witch walk. The gentleman, who looked stoned out of his mind, muttered something that sounded like he didn’t know anything about the walk sorry- and then got into his car and sped away. Towards the end of our wait, that same gentleman returned- refused to make eye contact and went into the building, and never came out. This is completely unprofessional. My mother sent an email and is currently awaiting a response from the owner, requesting a refund. Sadly based on this experience, I do not recommend this business or service. UPDATE As of today 11/19/2020 at 10:30pm- no one from Crow Haven Corner has returned our multiple emails, Facebook messages, or refunded us our money. We know that they are aware of their error and they are refusing to rectify it. We went on the Salem night tour this evening, and when speaking with the owner of that establishment, he informed us that an employee of Crow Haven Corner had attempted to lie, and said they were there at 11am. Thankfully, he stood up for us. The neighboring establishments owner saw us waiting all that time...and he saw that young gentleman from yesterday walk by and ignore us. (Who turns out to be the Crow Haven Corner owners SON). After which, the Crow Haven Corner employee admitted they were aware of the two women that were waiting for the tour that never happened. Sadly based on this experience, and the lack of communication, I would never recommend this business or service to anyone visiting Salem. It’s...

What a great tour! My wife booked this tour during our trip to Salem from Texas. Let’s begin that I don’t really understand witchcraft, but my wife wanted to book this tour as she was more interested in witchcraft and witch history more than the town. Let me tell you that this tour was the best one that we have taken in years! This is so different than the other tours in town, but in the best possible way. Our guide was Aaron, whose family has lived in Salem since the actual witch trials. Aaron is able to trace his ancestry back to one of the witches that were hung during the trials. Aaron is also a practicing witchcraft. He had such a deep understanding of the town and local legends that made it so entertaining. He didn’t do all of the cheesy theatrics like the other guys. It honestly felt like we were getting a tour from a friend as he asked about us and our understanding of witchcraft. Before we left on our tour around the area, we went into the cool, dreamy looking garden behind Crow Haven Corner to talk about the basics of witchcraft. He gave us a quick rundown, showed us some witchcraft, and he had us participate, as well. We continued on with a walking tour around the downtown area with Aaron telling funny stories and answering our goofy questions. It was honestly refreshing getting actual real answers from a local. I think the tour was supposed to be to be an hour, but Aaron was so kind answering our questions and didn’t hurry us along. We ended up not getting back until an hour after the tour was suppose to be over! I have to be honest, I was a bit weirded out by the fact the tour said it involved witchcraft, but went along with it to support my wife. So glad we did this tour! It was worth it. Crow Haven Corner has a long history in Salem, but it says something when the employees from other witch shops...

STAY AWAY!!!!

On October 1, 2020 during the night tour, Tour guide lead group through a different tour group like a bulldozer. Forcing members of the other group of the curb and causing on of them to fall to the ground between two cars. No apology.

I was apart of the other group your guide forced of the curb out of the way. I was the tourist who fell to the ground. I am the person who didnt get an apology for your employees rude behavior.

As the universe would have it, your guide walked past me this morning as I left my hotel (Salem Inn). I stop them to ask which tour they ran. Their eyes lit up like they were about to make a sale. When I was asked how I heard about the Salem witch walk from Crow Havens corner; I was more than happy to inform them of their poor publicity. How I was treated by them, how rude and unprofessional they were, and how should be grateful they didnt seriously injure me.

At this point one would think an apology would be given. Nope, they stood there repeating "Rude? RUDE?RUDE?". I responded "Yes, Rude." And they turn to their friend and said, "Come on Lena, lets go to work".

No apology, no "are you ok" no two Fs given.

They obviously do not care...

We loved our night Salem Witch Walk with a real local witch. She was super sweet and could tell she was really passionate about her craft. I can not remember our guides name because it was over a month ago but I believe it was Jessica or Britney. We loved creating spells with our local witch in the garden where we started our tour. Before we headed into tour on a walking tour we were each gifted with a crystal and told to jump over a witches broom for good intentions, and leaving negative energy behind us (I believe?). We then set off in the city and went to a few locations that involved witch trial info, learned the history of the bewitched statue, and ended at the burial cemetery on the edge of town… really interesting information that I won’t spoil!

First things first, this is a very different experience than just another tour… and that’s the great part about it! This is not just a history walk. You will learn about the history of witchcraft and how it exists in the modern world. The Witch Walk will give your enough history in a fun way but also shows great respect for those lost during the trials. Our guide was fantastic and seems to really enjoy being a part of the Witch Walk. Cast a spell, say a prayer, and learn a little along the way. One of the best parts was this was a more relaxed small group walk rather than a large 100+ group.
