EDIT: I’ve changed my review from a 2/5 to an 4/5 after speaking with the manager. I completely understand having one negative experience, but how it’s handled afterwards is even more important. She was quick to get back to me and we sorted everything out, which was amazing. While it’s always a bummer to not get a great manicure, they fixed everything which was great. I can’t wait to try them out again next time I’m in town <3 I went to M Vince Nail Spa today and had both the MV Manicure with gel nails, as well as the Royal Hot Stone Spa Pedicure. I give this place a 2/5 star because I’m semi- averaging my review. Nhi Duong did my pedicure and she did a fantastic job. She was so sweet and my toes turned out so cute. I couldn’t have been happier with her and would absolutely give her 5/5 stars! The girl who did my nails, while very sweet, did not do the greatest job on my nails. They’re extremely bumpy, she didn’t ask what shape I wanted, and she seemed extremely rushed to get to her next appointment. They’re all completely different sizes and I will personally have to shape them. Also, I can still see the green gel that was supposed to be removed prior to adding the purple. While I understand having time constraints and having multiple appointments, I wasn’t a walk-in. I, too, had an appointment and even forwent adding on a French tip since she mentioned she was wasn’t sure if she had the time. Plus, the manicure was supposed to have an extended lotion massage, etc. and it honestly felt like a regular manicure and not the MV manicure. My nails are super rough and sharp, and to be honest, I’d never go to her again. I’m sure she’d do a much better job if she didn’t have another appointment right after, but unfortunately, it just felt so rushed. Overall, the spa was 4/5 (the ambiance was great), my pedicure was 5/5, and my manicure was 2/5 (which had now been sorted so 5/5!).

Ok time for me to share my updated experience. I’ve been coming here for over 6 months for regular fills. At first, I noticed a price increase from what I was used to but I figured it was because of the lovely spa like environment. The first fill I ever did there was $45, still very reasonable. I kept going back because I know loyalty is appreciated but each time I became more and more disappointed. Each time I went back for a fill, I noticed it was more expensive each time. The tech would add $5 for shape, $5 for length, $5 for miscellaneous things making my simple fill a whopping $80 with tip. Mind you, I never got any nail art or anything complicated. This last time I went was the last straw for me. I was charged $70 for a new set, even though my set was short. I didn’t understand any of the uncharges, one was for supposedly ā€œshapeā€ but she didn’t even do the right shape. I can honestly say that I left the salon absolutely hating my nails and feeling I was overcharged, as I had been for months. I’ve attached a picture of my awful nails. The acrylic was laid on thick and the shape is truly horrendous. I asked for coffin and there’s nothing coffin about it, it’s square and it’s not even a good square. I also asked for a natural nude for color and was given pastel pink. Each time I questioned the technician, I was asked to trust her. I felt bad so I shut up and let her do her thing. I wish I had stopped her— As soon as I got home, I clipped all my nails off!

I’ve been here quite a few times and most times have had a positive experience but unfortunately will not be returning. I got dip done on a Saturday, it started cracking within 3-4 days later which is unusual - does not usually happen when I get dip there it usually lasts a month. I took photos of it (3 days after manicure - it got 10x worse and was crumbling off piece by piece a week later) and I called about three to four days after manicure and let them know and they apologized and told me that it wouldn’t cost anything to get it redone and that I could get it redone when I got back from being out of town for a funeral. I got back last night. Called again to remind them of our conversation this morning and they remembered and set an appointment for me this afternoon. I go in, get my nails done, and as I’m checking out they tell me my total is the full payment….the woman I spoke with wasn’t at the front so I told them about my conversation with her and then we spent a few minutes arguing about it in front of everyone. They ended up giving me $15 off. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. They should have honored what they promised me on the phone (twice) and then told their employee of their policy. Such poor customer experience. Not apologetic and arguing in the lobby??? Will be losing a customer and will not be recommending this place to any friends anymore.

LITERALLY the Worst Nail experience I have ever had in my entire life!!! We went in for my daughter's birthday. She just wanted shellac and I just wanted a color change on my newly done acrylic *Halloween color). Looking through the books for color, (i wanted multiple fall colors), I picked up another book and it was taken out of my hand and told I couldn't pick another color from that book because it was a different brand, I had to stick with colors from the same brand.??? My daughter was told we could sit together when she made the reservation, and we were told we could sit together when we asked when we got there. She was sat while I was picking my colors up front. They did three of her nails ( starting them like she was getting acrylic) and she asked why she wasn't sat next to an empty spot so I could sit next to her. They moved her to a spot with an empty seat. I ran to the bathroom and then was sat next to an empty seat. I was looking for her and saw her rows behind me sitting next to an open spot. I kept asking my my nt if we could sit together and i could hear my daughter doing the same to her nt. My nt kept saying yes, and kept doing my nails. I heard my daughter getting upset. Finally, my daughter said she changed her mind and didn't want her nails done. During all of this, I didn't realize that my nt had started filing my acrylic off. I was SOOOOO upset. I said, I needed this fixed and then we were going to leave. They were literally not listening to anything I was saying. The owner came back and apologized. She was very nice. Said they would fix it and paint my nails for free. I said that now I didn't have time. I just wanted my acrylic put back on and we were leaving. They replaced my nt with a different one. She was gluing my nails on crooked. I was asking her if she could make sure my nails underneath were super short and could she make sure they were straight. She got up while I was asking her. I asked her if she could not walk away while I was talking to her. She said she's been doing nails a long time and knows what to do. I really was trying to be nice, because I knew she gets paid on a piece rate and she had to fix nails that she didn't mess up. She got up and walked up. The owner came over and told me that they all knew what they were doing. She moved me to a gentleman. He finished my nails. He asked if he could paint them I said no to everything: paint, top coat, polish, oil on my cuticles or hands. I got up to ask the owner If she could charge me a dollar so I could give the guy a tip. She balked and said " so you're not going to pay for your nails?" 😳 I said "No, whay would I pay for a set of acrylic nails? I walked in with a perfectly fine set to begin with?" You guys took them off when that's not what I asked for. I thought you were drilling off the gel, you messed them up, you said you'd fix them for free. ". She pushed back my credit card and said "take your credit card back, we don't need your tip". Absolutely a waste of mine and my daughter's afternoon. Neither of us have painted nails and we wasted 2 hours of our time. They should actually reimburse us for our time! UNBELIEVABLE PS wrote the review with a lot of emotions. Edited to clean up and...

I wish I could give this salon zero stars. Team was friendly and all but you can tell they treat new customers different than regulars. When I was waiting for my appointment I noticed a lot of regulars walking in and they offered drinks to them but not new customers who were waiting. I started with my pedicure and it was okay. Sophia was the tech completing my service. Had no issues with my toes until the end when she was doing the callus filing and cut me on accident. After my toes were done, we moved to a table where Sophia was also going to do my gel x nails. She removed my old set and got started with the gel X. Everything was fine until when started gluing the nails on. She wasn't adding much gel to glue the nail and when putting them on the UV light she would press more down on the tip and they weren't gluing correctly. My ENTIRE right hand had so many bubbles and my index finger wasn't even glued on at all. She said she would fix them for me. She attempted to fix them but the bubbles were still very visible, but tried to convince me that that was perfectly normal even though I've done my nails a million times and I know that's now how they're supposed to look. I told her I didn't like it and she removed it and filed the glue off. She attempted to try again and same thing she wasn't gluing the tips correctly. She yelled me "what do you want me to do" I don't know how I was supposed to respond to that when she is the nail tech not me. After this she started talking in a different language to other nail techs. I told her I wanted them removed and did not want that service anymore. She offered acrylics and I declined. She filed all the of glue off and my nails were so thin and fragile, to top things off they demanded that I pay for the removal of my old set even though my old set was perfectly fine and I would've been better off keeping them. It's been more than 3 days and my nails feel so weak to the point where I can't even wash my hands with warm water because they feel so thin. I have difficulty showering since my nails are breaking off and hurting. This is by far the worst experience ever. I have always gotten gel x nails since they work better for me for work and this has completely changed my...
